What are the methods available for data conversion and migrating data in BUSY?

There are two methods for data conversion i.e from Access to MS SQL and MS SQL to access:
 To convert the data you can follow the below steps:
 Step 1: For doing the process, MS sql must be installed in system.
 Step 2: Create an access shortcut if you want to convert data from MS SQL to Acess and if want to convert your data from Access to MS SQL then create a MS sql shortcut according.
 Step 3: Then open the shortcut and create a new company, with the same Financial year you want to import data for.
 Step 4: Open the company go to Administration the click on Data Export Import.
 Step 5: Under Data Export Import, click on option Import Data from Access. This option will show when you going to convert your data from MS SQL to Access but if you are converting data from Access to MS SQL then it will show option as Import data from SQL.
 Step 6: Data will automatically reflect in window then select the company and enter Administrator user credentails , then click on Import and your data will be imported.
 Note : Further, it's recommended to concern your channel partner for the process if you are facing issue and also it is a chargeable process.
 For migrating data from BUSY you can follow the below steps:
 Step 1: Export all your data to MS excel 
 Step 2: Then prepare the excel sheet data into two worksheets one for All Masters i.e. Accounts and Items 
 another worksheet for Different kinds of Transactions. 
 Step 3: Ensure that you have to prepare data as per BUSY guidelines and different vouchers data should be in 
 different excel worksheet. 
 Step 2: Then open BUSY and Go to Administration then click on data export import. 
 Step 3: Click on Import master from excel then Select the kind of Master you wants to import. 
 Step 4: Then select fields which you want to import for Masters and Provide their columns mentioned in excel. 
 then select the sheet of master and import. 
 Step 5: After importing All masters then go to Administration then click on Data Export Import. 
 Step 6: Then Click on Import voucher from excel, Select the kind of voucher you wants to import. 
 Step 7: Then Select kind of voucher you wants to import 
 Step 8: Further have to click on configure option and Select the voucher. 
 Step 9: After selecting voucher, few options will appear at right side, then have to add format. 
 Step 10: After Adding format, you have to define the component names and the excel column according to excel 
 sheet. 
 Step 11: After configuring import format have to escape window, and then you to check the options accordinly 
 Step 12: Then Select the excel file path , sheet no, starting and ending row number and Import 
 BUSY had also provided utility for import data directly from Tally to BUSY. You can use that utility to directly import if you are using Tally software. 
 Note: a) Take backup of your data before the process. 
 b) This process will be done on chargeable basis from dealer end also.
