Why am I unable to open or access the sales register file on my desktop? What should I check to resolve this issue?
Their could be multiple resons for not open or access the sales register file in BUSY
follow the steps to solve the issue
1 if the user you are using its dont have the rights to show the report then this problem can be happen to solve it open BUSY with admin user then modify user restriction and allow account books option from menu rights
2 it could be possible that you are following wrong steps to check the report in that case follow the steps
go to display menu and click on account books then click to account register standard then
click on sales register
If run time error 3354 occurs while opening the ledger book then how can we deal with it?
If run time error 3354 occurs while opening the ledger book follow the below steps:
Step 1: Check the ledger report(Press Alt+L or go to display >account book >account ledger) in short range and find a single date in which error occurred.
Step 2: Open day book (Display >account book >day book) on the date in which the error was coming.
Step 3: Check all pure accounting vouchers (Journal , receipt , payment , contra) and correct those entries which are entered in an incorrect manner .
For example - In payment vouchers ,the single account is selected twice instead of one . Now we have to correct the entry and save it.
I want to modify a report to show different columns or totals. How do I do this?
For Different column in Report you can add custom column but custom column option not available in basic and blue version of BUSY.
For add custom column please follow these steps:
1. Open particular Report
2. Then click on custom column and mention format name
3. Then press enter key and click on add new column
4. Mention heading name,position,data type
5. Then mention category in data field if you take item master or account master then mention
column position of account master or item master
6. Then click on field and choose field and save format
7. Reopen Report in new format

Where can I view reports on sales, purchases, inventory etc. in BUSY?
You can access various reports related to sales, purchases, inventory, etc. in BUSY by following these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select the company you want to work with. Then, go to the Display tab on the top menu bar.
Step 2: Under the Display tab, select Account Books and then click on Account Registers (Standard). This will open a list of different reports that you can choose from, such as sales register, purchase register, etc.
Step 3: To view the inventory status of your items, go back to the Display tab and select Stock Status. This will show you the current stock position of your items along with their rates and values.
How do I record a payment made by cheque in BUSY
If payment done by cheque then there should be a post dated cheque and a clearing date.
If you want to enter post dated cheques and track them in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select the company you want to work with. Then, go to the Administration tab and click on configuration.
Step 2: Under Configurations, select Features / Options and then click on the Accounts tab. Here, you will find the "Post Dated Cheques in Payment/Receipt Vouchersoption. Just click on the checkbox to turn it on.
Step 3: Now, when you enter Payment voucher from the Transactions menu, you can select Type as PDC and enter PDC Date.

1.In BUSY We have so many reports to see sales.
2.Go to the Display menu Then select GST Report
3.Then Select sales Register & select the following Options & see the report.
4.You Can Also See Report In Go to the Display menu Then select Accounts Books
5.Then Select Accounts Register (Standard).
6.Then Click on sales Register & See the Reports
7.You Can Also See Report In Go to the Display menu Then select Inventory Books.
8.Then Select Inventory Register (Standard).
9.Then Click on sales Register & See the Reports.
How do I generate reports and statements in BUSY
To generate reports and statements in BUSY, follow these steps:
1. Open BUSY.
2. Go to the Reportsor tatementssection.
3. Select the type of report or statement you want to generate, such as balance sheet, profit and loss statement, or sales report.

To check the Nett Sales amount instead of Gross Sales and selecting the date range while generating report
have to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Display, then Account Books.
Step 2: Under Account Books books option Click on Account Registers Standard
Step 3: Then click on Sales register option, then Select all parties.
Step 4: Then Menu window open there you can select the Date Range for generating Sales report.
Step 5: In the same menu, there is option of Bifurcation of Amount that you have to make No and Make Y to Include Sales return in report and then you will get the Nett Sales report.
