How does the bulk receipt process work in BUSY? Can this be used to apply multiple payments without references?
To know bulk receipts process in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration then click on Bulk Updations.
Step 2: Select Bulk Receipts and can select either Amount Receivable or Bills Receivable.
Step 3: Enter the bill status as on date and select account range then click on the down arrow.
Step 4: Select the voucher type such as Journal or Receipt and voucher series.
Step 5: Enter the date, then receipt mode and discount ( if required)
Step 6: After verifying entries can save it.
Further, you can use bulk payments without bill references.
Is there a separate utility or add-on available for merging multiple items in BUSY Accounting Software?
No, there is no separate utility or add-on available for merging multiple items in BUSY. However, You can merge two item master by follow these steps:
Step 1: Take the latest backup of data.
Step 2: Open your company then go to Administration menu.
Step 3: Click on Bulk Updations then click on Merge Masters and select Item.
Step 4: Select the Source and Target master and set Y on option available Delete Source Account After Merging Data if you want to delete the source account.
Step 5: Click on Ok to proceed and check after complete it.
What is the process of updating party master details in bulk.
If you want to update fields like pincode and station in party master in bulk, please follow the steps given below:
Note: Please take latest backup of the company.
Step 1: Go to Administration menu
Step 2: Click on bulk updation option
Step 3: Select multiple account creation/modification
Step 4: Select Modify existing master and then click on select fields.
Step 5: Select Account pincode and Account station fields.
Step 6: Click on load masters then select accounts.
Step 7: Mention details then click on save option and save it.
How can I do bulk updation of items in the master?
To do bulk updation of items in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Take the latest backup of your data.
Step 2: Go to housekeeping then click on bulk updation option.
Step 3: Choose the multiple item creation/modification then click on modify existing master then Key field as Name if you want to change alias or select Key field as Alias if you to change name.
Step 4: Here, click on Select Fields and choose the name or alias, item group field etc.
Step 5: Now, Load Master and update the changes in the relevant column then save.
Why is my uploaded data not getting accepted by the software?
There could be several reasons why your uploaded data is not getting accepted by the software:
Step 1 : It could be due to formatting errors, missing or incorrect data, incompatible file types,

Step 2 : Bulk updation
Step 3 : Voucher replication

To export sales data as CSV file, you need to follow:
Step 1 : Click on display
Step 2 : GST Reports
Step 3 : GST registers
Step 4 : Sales register, open report
Step 5 : Export it in CSV format
How do I update multiple account balances to zero at once in BUSY
To update opening balances to zero in accounts, you can follow these steps:
Make sure to take backup of your data before making any changes.
Step 1: Go to Administration menu and click on Bulk Updations.
Step 2: Select Multiple Account Creation / Modification and click on Modify Existing Master.
Step 3: Choose Name in the Key Field and click on Load Master.
Step 4: After master appearing in the tables you can update the opening balance as zero and save changes.
Please note that Opening Balance and Related Entries can be entered only in the Beginning F.Y.
How can I convert an existing account to a new account in BUSY?
In BUSY, you can merge existing account's entries to a new account. To do the same follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to Administration menu.
Step 2: Click on Bulk Updations then click on Merge Masters.
Step 3: Select the master type such as Items or Accounts as required.
Step 4: Select the Source and Target account and if you wish to delete the source account then set Y on option available.
Step 5: Click on Ok to proceed and check after complete it.
Note: Take backup of your data before doing this process.
How can I move items into a group in bulk?
To move items into a group in bulk, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Take backup of your company.
Step 2: Open your company then go to administration menu.
Step 3: Click on bulk updations then select multiple item creation or modification.
Step 4: Tick on modify existing master and select the key field as name.
Step 5: Click on select fields and choose the fiels such as name, unit, group.
Step 6: After that click on load masters and select the required items then you can update the group in the relevant column then save.
How can I delete all the items of a company?
You can delete those items which are not used in any transactions. To delete those item follow the below steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to administration menu and click on bulk updation sub menu.
Step 2: Select delete unused masters option then tick on item and can delete either all items or group of items as required.
Step 3: If you want to delete those items which have some opening balance then set Y on delete items with opening balance option.
Step 4: Press ok to start the process and check after complete.
