To delete the unused item master in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration section then click on bulk updation
Step 2: Click on delete unused master then select item in master type for deletion
Step 3: Now, choose the group of items n item deletion for then select the item group and update the requirement for delete item with opening balance and press on OK tab to proceed.
Note- Please take the latest backup before doing any process.

To update HSN codes from 4 digits to 6 or 8 digits, you can utilize the bulk update process. Follow the steps below to update HSN codes in bulk:
 Step 1: Go to Administration menu and click on Bulk Updations.
 Step 2: Then click on Multiple Item creation/modification.
 Step 3: Select HSN code field then load Masters.
 Step 4: Update HSN code in bulk.
 Note: Ensure to take the latest backup of data before initiating any process.

To use bulk updation for modifying account , follow the below step:
Step 1: Go to administration then Bulk updation 
Step 2: Select multiple account creation/ modifications
Step 3: Select modify existing master and key field
Step 4: Then go to select field and choose field for the information you want to modify 
Step 5: Now go to load master and select account and press ok
Step 6: all master will show in list change the required information then and save

To change HSN Code for all items in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Take backup of your data.
Step 2: Open your company then go to Administration tab.
Step 3: Select Bulk Updations and click on Update Item Tax Category / HSN Code option.
Step 4: Tick on HSN Code and can select All Items, Group of Items or Selected Items as per the requirements.
Step 5: Enter the HSN code in New HSN Code field then save.

To merge two accounts without losing data in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Take the latest backup of your data.
Step 2: Open your company then go to Administration menu.
Step 3: Click on Bulk Updations then click on Merge Masters and select Accounts.
Step 4: Select the Source and Target master and set Y or N on option available Delete Source Account After Merging Data as per requirement.
Step 5: Click on Ok to proceed and check after complete it.

To merge two accounts and delete the previous account in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Take backup of your company.
Step 2: Open your company then go to administration menu.
Step 3: Click on bulk updations then click on merge masters and choose accounts.
Step 4: Select the Source and Target Account and set Y on the option of Delete Source Account After Merging Data. 
Step 5: Click on Ok to proceed and check after complete it.

 Step 1: Administration
 Step 2: Bulk Updation
 Step 3: Merge Masters
 Step 4: Accounts
 Step 5: Select Source Account - Mention the account which want to merge.
 Step 6: Select Target Account - Mention the account in which want to merge the source account.
 Step 7: Delete source data after merging , Either do Yes or No as per your requirement.
 Note : Do this process after the Data Backup.

To delete an unused item in software follow below steps:
Step1: Go to Administration menu and click on bulk updation submenu
Step2: Now click on delete unused master option and select items option
Step3: Then select all item or group of item and enable delete item with opening balance option as Y as per your requirement and press Ok
Step4: Then press Yes and it will take few minutes to complete the process and then you can check list of item  

Yes, you can update tax categories to items in bulk by following these steps:
Step 1: Take backup of your company and open it.
Step 2: Go to administration menu then select bulk updations option.
Step 3: Select update item tax category or hsn code and here tick on tax category.
Step 4: Here, you can update either in all items, group of items or selected items base on your requirements.
Step 5: After selecting specify the tax category and save.

To update the Tax Category in bulk, you need to follow these steps: (Make sure to take backup of your data before making any changes).
Step 1: Go to Administration menu and click on Masters.
Step 2: Select Bulk Updation and click on Check/Update Item HSN/Tax Category.
Step 3: Select Item Master Range. You can select GROUP, ALL or SELECTED.
Step 4: After masters appearing in the table you can update the Tax Category with each Item and save changes.
