How do I refresh the party master?
To refresh party master data in BUSY , please follow the steps :
Step 1: Go toHousekeeping menu.
Step 2 : Select Regenerate Master help files option
Step 3 : run the utility and check the party details refresed.
Is it necessary to remove the fields for opening amount and opening stock main quantity before processing data in bulk?
No, it is not necessaryto remove the field for opening amount and opening stock main quantity before processing data through Bulk updation. Further, if you do not required to udpate these data then you can remove such field.
I need help merging two duplicate customer profiles in BUSY. What should I do?
To merge two duplicate customer profile in BUSY go to:
Step 1 : Take backup
Step 2 : Click on administration
Step 3 : Bulk updation
Step 4 : Click on merge masters
Step 5 : And merge the duplicate account into one.
Why is the bulk updation option not working for modifying receipts in BUSY?
The Bulk Receipts option under the Bulk Updations menu is used to enter receipts in bulk but it will not modify the exising vouchers. To modify the receipt voucher you need to do it manualy one by one.
Do I need to load the master or select the HSN code field for updating the HSN codes in bulk?
Yes, when you want to update HSN codes for your items through multiple item creation or modification utility then you need to first select the HSN code field then load the item masters as per the requirements.
How long does it take to update changes made in the BUSY?
If you have made changes in a company in BUSY, it will update on real time basis. Further if you have run any bulk updation process then after complete it changes update in software on same time.
I am not able to see the merged account in the account ledger after merging. What can be the reason for this?
If you have specify Y for Delete source account after merged data option during merge account data process then the source account will not display in account ledger as the master will delete form data base.
What is the meaning of "key field" error I am getting when trying to modify opening balances?
The key field error you are getting when trying to modify opening balances means that you need to select a fixed field name/alias to make the modification so, you need to specify Name/ Alias key field.
What happens to the merged item in bills where it is has been used?
When you merge two items in BUSY, the source item replace with the target item in bills. Further if you set Y on Delete Source Item After Merging Data then the source item will be delete.
Can I add more fields on the multiple account creation or modification page?
Yes, you can add more fields on the multiple account creation or modification page in BUSY. To add fields you need to click on select fields button and double click on the required fields then save.
