Does regenerating the help files refresh the master file and how does it impact the stock quantity?

Regenerating the help files in BUSY  does not refresh the master balance. It is used to check and fix any issues in the master file. It does not impact the stock quantity.

How can I fix the issue of automatic not deleting master after merging them?

When you merge masters in BUSY, it will not delete the source master automatically untill you have not set Y on the available option called delete source account or item after merging data.

Why is the account name automatically picking in the voucher?

If account name is automatically picking in the voucher, follow these steps :
Step 1: Go to administration then bulk updation.
Step 2: Open voucher template tagging and check and remove header enteries and save.

Why are some ledgers not being merged during bulk updation?

If some ledgers are not being merged during merge master process then might be you are not in the begining financial year of company and then source account has some opening balance.

Step 1: For unfreeze data go to administration option then select utilities option.
Step 2: Under utilities option select data freezing option to unfreeze data.

If you have processed any bulk updation task then you can not undo it. Further if you taken any backup before doing this you can restore it for as it was previous.

To check the accurate reports for profit and loss in BUSY but it is showing numbers that don't seem right, you need to update the master balance from the housekeeping option.

What is the difference between a source item and a target item in merging?

In Merge Master utility the source item indicates which item's entries you want to merge. While the target item indicates in which item you want to merge the source item's entries.

How do I ensure that all bills are visible after merged account?

To ensure that all bills are visible after merged account in BUSY, you need to open the target account ledger and can check if all the entries are visible or not.

normally not happen if it happen then take your current data back-up and re-index the data.
