To carry forward opening balance from last year you need to follow the steps 
 Step1 open company and go to previous year by pressing F11 
 Step2 Go to administration menu and click to change financial year 
 Step3 Click on FY from 01 st april of next year then press Yes to carry 
 Step4 Click start

First check how many years available in your company.
For check Number of years follow these steps:
step 1: Go in administration 
step 2: Go in change financial year and check number of year
If show 2022 then you can go in 2022.
If not show 2022 then you can create 2022 just click on 1-4-2022
Then you can pass entry in 2022

If you want to carry forward previous year balance then please follow
the given steps
Step 1: Go to administration menu then change financial year.
Step 2: Then change to previous financial year.
Step 3: Then again go to administration menu then change financial
 year.
Step 4:Then select current financial year then yes for carry balance 
 window then all master then start.

In BUSY, the time it takes to transfer data from the previous year to the current financial year varies. It depends on factors like the size of your company's data, the number of transactions, the amount of information stored, and the references linked to those transactions. There's no fixed time limit because each company's situation is different.

In some process like carry forward balances from last year to current year, reindex database, etc the BUSY will notify you as some other user is working in this company to prevent from the data losses and also it won't proceed without closing the same company on other system or on the same system in different tab.

The entry made on April 1st is offsetting the CGST balance because it is related to the opening balance from the previous financial year. To properly set off the CGST amount, it is recommended to split the financial year in the software and consult with a CA or accountant for guidance on passing the opening balance entry.

To check the previous year data, you need to switch the financial year to previous year by follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration section then click on change financial year.
Step 2: Select the required financial year then select yes to change financial year option.
Note- In BUSY, you can switch financial year by pressing F11 shortcut key.

To copy master from previous financial year to current financial year , follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to previous financial year by F11
Step 2: Now go to administration then select option change financial year
Step 3: Select target financial year and click yes on carry forward balances 
Step 4: Now select all masters and strat the process

To carry over the pending material issue/receipt to the next financial year, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration then click on change financial year.
Step 2: Now, select the required financial year, select yes to carry balance, choose for new and change master or all master and start the process.
Note- take the latest backup before any process.

To transfer balance from previous year to next year, follow these steps:
Step 1: Take the latest backup of your data.
Step 2: Go to administration section then click on change financial year.
Step 3: Select the required financial year then click on yes to carry balances.
Step 4: Choose all master then Click on start tab and complete the process.
