If you unable to view data of previous financial year, then might you have splited the last financial year. So if you want to check the last year data then you need to open that company. Further if you have backup of combined data you can restore it and check in it.

To forward account balances to the next period, you need to make the total amount zero on the last day of the current period and carry forward the balances to the next period by selecting the option "change financial year" in the administration section and starting the process with new and change.

To change the financial year then follow the steps.
Step 1: Go to the Administration menu then click on Change Financial year option .
Step 2: Then click on new year from option and press ok button to proceed.
Step 3: Then click on start button to carry the last year data into current year.

If you have previous year in company then you can easily view previous year data. press f11 and change year (go in previous year)and view data.
If you have previous data on different location then you have to change data directory after change data directory you can easily view previous year data 

The message Opening balance and related entries can be changed only in the beginning appears when trying to enter opening balance for an account or item in the financial year whose previous financial year exist in data base. As the opening balance can only be changed in beginning financial year only.

If there is no authority to delete the company, please ensure that the username and password are entered correctly at the time of attempting to delete the company. To delete the company, use the super user ID and password, as sub users do not have the authority to delete the company.

To carry the balance and new changes in next financial year , by following these steps :
Step 1 : Go to previous financial year, make changes as needed.
Step 2 : Go to administration click on change financial year by selecting option carry forward balances as yes with new and changed masters.

When you create a new financial year in BUSY, all the master carry forward to new year with their balances. Further if you made any changes in last year after creating the new year then you need to change the financial year again with New & Change Master from Administration menu.

To claim ITC of pending entries from previous year follow the steps below:
 Step 1: Go to Administration then click on change financial year to previous
 Step 2: Click on Financial year for the year and press ok
 Step 3: Now select carry pending ITC to next financial year

The net tax amount from the prior year is showing in your current year's tax return summary because you have not paid that tax in last year. Ideally previous year's tax should be paid in last year only by passing entry and transferring the output tax into gst payable ledger.
