To post entry on previous year date, follow these steps:
Step 1: Login the company then click on administration section.
Step 2: Select change financial year then select the required financial year.
Step 3: Click on yes to change financial year then you can enter voucher.

When you have changed the financial year and now want to make some entries in the last year then you need to go to the last year either by using the shortcut key F11 of Click on Administration and submenu change financial year. 

To make changes to a existing company. Follow below steps : 
Step 1: Open BUSY and go to Company menu and select company . 
Step 2: Enter user name and password to open company and you can do changes as er your requirement.

To check the salary amount for the specific employee then check the below steps.
Step 1: Click on Display menu and sub menu payroll reports
Step 2: Then Payroll register and select the salary register
Step 3: Then select the employee name and view the report.

If you unable to see the Do not carry item balance option that means you are using below BUSY 17 version.  So, upgrade your BUSY with current version of BUSY 21 then  change the financial year with carry item balances.

To ensure that there is no scope for mistakes while creating financial year in BUSY, you should review your final reports such as profit and loss, balance sheet etc. If all are correct then you can create new financial year in company.

If you want to remove the previous tax year's data to current year you need to take latest backup first then go to previous year and pass gst payment entry in last year only by transferring output tax into gst payable ledger.

In BUSY if you face issue that while weight is not carry forward to the next financial year you can follow given steps:
Step: 1 Go to administration.
Step: 2 Then go to change Financial year.
Step: 3 Carry forward balance with all master.
