If you want to maintain income or expenses of your business in BUSY you may follow some steps:
Step: 1 Create account ledger for income or expense under indirect or direct expense or income group.
Step: 2 Can do journal entry by transaction - journal - add.

In BUSY, you can search HSN / SAC code for your product and services by following these steps:
Step 1: Go to Transaction menu and click on GST Misc Utilities.
Step 2: Select Search HSN / SAC Code. Here you can search by product and service description.

If you want to apply tax on expenses then you should create the expense account master with GST applicable and specify the gst details. and if you dont want to apply tax on expenses then you should select not applicable option into the expense master.

In BUSY you cannot create a duplicate master that means if party master already created so you cannot create master with same name again, also can check party wise enter transactions by display - accounts book - account register - sale register - party wise

For creating account heads, see the following step:
Step 1 Go to Administration.
Step 2 Click on Master, then click on Account Group.
Step 3 feed account group name if you create an individual group; enable primary group Y.
Step 4 Click on Save to save the group name.

If in cash discount bill sundry you enable affect the cost of goods in sale set as Y, in this case the cost of good sale will effect. If it is set as N, in this case the cost of good sale will not effect.

To edit or customize chart of account or category, we need to follow :
Step 1 : click on administration
Step 2 : masters
Step 3 : accounts
Step 4 : list
Step 5 : configurable (hierarchical)
Step 6 : click on tab select field and edit the chart of accounts

For add new state in BUSY follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to administration then go to master
Step 2: In master menu click on miscellaneous master then go to state
Step 3: Now click on add and mention state name and state code and save master

To update the address in account master for foreign party, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration section then click on master menu
Step 2: Choose the account option then click on modify option
Step 3: Update the address in party address field and save the master.

To update the hsn code in item master in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration section then click on master
Step 2: Choose the item tab then select modify option
Step 3: Access the required item master and update the hsn code then save it.
