To create references for old bills in follow the steps 
1 go to administration menu and click on Utilities
2 click on reference management 
3 click on auto adjust reference 
4 select bill wise reference 
5 select all accounts or group of accounts or one account and ok 

Follow below steps to check a voucher series with all series in BUSY,
Step 1: Go in transaction section.
Step 2: Select list option.
Step 3: Then select all series and mention the desired starting and ending date.
Step 4: Then check other required fields.
Step 5: Then open the report and check.

Yes you can freeze data to avoid modification and deletion , to freeze data follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to administration 
Step 2: Then go to utilities and select data freezing
Step 3: Select partial option and mention date for the time period you want to freeze data

When create a new item master in BUSY then you can specify the main,alternative and packaging unit accordingly. 
 Impotant note : If you wants to enable Alternative/Packaging unit in item master, there is need to enable the option of Alternative/Packaging unit of items from Features and option.

To enter Party wise Item Codes in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to Administration.
Step 2: Select Configuration and click on Party-wise Item Codes.
Step 3: Now, select your party name and Item name and assign codes for each items then save.

If you want to add accounts/Party follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration then click on Masters.
Step 2: Click on Accounts then click Add.
Step 3: Then Write The Name Select the group & add Other relevant information.
Step 4: Then enter the Voucher & you can select the account.

Help menu provides instructions and information about how to use the software. This menu s the queries related to;

If the item name is not being modified in BUSY, it means that the item is already used in some voucher. If you want to edit it, you need to remove it from the vouchers. The item description can be modified even if it has already been used.

The auto create party reference works on FIFI basis in BUSY.The purpose of the auto-adjust option in bill-by-bill references is to automatically adjust bills on a FIFO basis. It works by creating and adjusting references for bills and receipts based on the order in which they were received.

To disable enforce backup option after closing the company in BUSY by following below steps:
Step1: Go to Administration menu and then click on configuration option
Step2: Now select backup configuration option and disable enforce backup at the time of closing the company option as N and save the changes
