To fix the error of HSN code You need to make sure these Points: 
1: You need to ensure that HSN code should be valid.
2: HSN code should not be below 6 digit.
NOTE: Mention HSN code as per AATO.

How do I register my vendors in the software?

Please follow below mention steps for vendor registration:-
Step 1:- Administration Tab
Step 2:- Masters
Step 3:- Account
Step 4:- Add,
Enter vendor name group address GSTIN(if any) contact details, etc
Repeat same add option for creation, or use Shortcut key of masters creation i.e. "F3"

When I try to validate parties in bulk, it asks me to validate each one individually. Is there a way to validate all parties at once?

To validate Gst no of parties in bulk, kindly follow the step: 
Step1 : Go to transactions menu,
Step2 : Select Gst Misc.Uitlities options.
Step3 : Go to Vaildate GSTIN Online, click on Multiple GSTIN and Vaildate.

The invoice printout from BUSY is spanning multiple pages. How can I optimize it to fit into one page?

To fit invoice on one page follow the below given steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration
Step 2: Configuration
Step 3: Hardware Configuration
Step 4: Advance
Step 5: Shrinke Printing to 90% and adjust Top and left Margin

Some icons have a tick mark on them but it's not showing up. How can I fix this?

If some icons are showing tick and showing as unchangable that means the feature is in 
use if you want to disable it then you have to remove all the the data related to the feature then
can untick it

Some groups are not pulling in the right sale/purchase accounts. How do I check item groups and mapping?

To check Item Group You need to follow these stpes:
Step 1: Open Item master in Modify mode.
Step 2: Check Item group and specify sale acc and purhcase acc you can
mention as per your requirement group and account and save.

Why is the invoice configuration not getting carried forward when I upgrade to the new version of BUSY?

The invoice configuration doesn't get carried forward when I upgrade to the new version of BUSY due to the following reasons: 
It's necessary to create a backup before upgrading BUSY.
Ensure that you have saved the configuration successfully.

How do I clear the opening balance of payables in BUSY? It seems to be doubling.

If you want to clear the opening balance of payable you need to clear it in previous financial year or you can split your financial year after that you will be able to clear its opening from its account master

How do I properly exit and reopen BUSY to apply changes I've made to settings?

To properly exis and reopen BUSY to apply changes made to settings you can follow the 
steps
1 go to company menu and click on close company
2 then click on open company and relogin with user ID and password
