How to setup BUSY users and access? How to customize forms and invoices?

 There are two types of users in BUSY, Superuser and Subusers. The superuser has all the rights of the company and the subuser has limited rights according to his role. A company can have only one superuser and there is no limit on subusers. Follow the steps given below to manage users in the company:-
Step 1 : Open BUSY
Step 2 : Click on Create Company under Company tab.
Step 3 : Enter details and Save
Step 4 : After Company creation a window appears to create a superuser of the company, here you can enable User Authentication Required options and create a SuperUser Name and Password.
Step 5 : Go to Administration. then User and click on Add
Step 6 : Create Sub User with given rights as per role

Why am i unable to change the party name in voucher?

 If you are unable to change the party name in voucher please follow these steps to solve this issue:
Step 1: If you are using POS format then go to administration menu
Step 2: Then click on configuration button
Step 3: Then click on voucher series configuration
Step 4: Then select the invoice such as sale and purchase etc
Step 5: Afterwards select the series and click on voucher configuration
Step 6: Then click on configure advanced pos option
Step 7: Then check party field type should be selected as variable or semi-variable only and save the changes
If still you are unable to change party name it means its user restriction for this follow below steps:
Step 1: Login your company with superuser then Go to administration menu
Step 2: Then click on users
Step 3: Then click on modify and open the user master in which you are unable to change the party name
Step 4: Afterwards see the menu rights option in the top right of user master
Step 5: Then click on transactions and expand it and then select the voucher such as sales,purchase etc and make sure modify option is tick

How to restrict users from editing vouchers?

 Certainly, here's a step-by-step guide on how to restrict users from editing vouchers in BUSY:
Step 1 :Launch BUSY and log in with administrator or supervisor privileges, as you'll need sufficient access rights to configure these settings.
Step 2 :Navigate to the voucher type configuration settings. In BUSY, this is typically found under the "Masters" or "Configuration" menu.
Step 3 :Select the specific voucher type for which you want to restrict editing.
Step 4: Within the selected voucher type, configure the voucher series that you want to restrict. Each series represents a unique sequence of voucher numbers.
Step 5 :In the voucher series configuration, specify the basis for restricting backdated entries. You can choose options like "Number of days allowed" or "Disallow backdated entries."
Step 6 :If you selected the option to allow backdated entries, specify the maximum number of backdays allowed.
Step 7: Select the user or users for whom you want to restrict editing rights.
Step 8 :Within the user management settings, configure the user rights to restrict editing vouchers. This might involve setting the user's access rights to "View-Only" or customizing permissions to limit editing capabilities.

How to add multiple user accounts in my BUSY software?How to generate and print purchase orders in BUSY?

 To add multiple user account in your company you need to follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration then click on Users.
Step 2: Then Click on Add to Add user and configure user credentials and menu rights then save.Like this you can multiple users for your company.
To generate and print purchase orders in BUSY you need to follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration then click on configuration.
Step 2: Then select Features/Options and click on Inventory.
Step 3: Enable Order processing and press Ok then save configuration.
Step 4: Go to Transactions then click on Purchase Order.
Step 5: Then Click on Add and further mention the purchase order details in the voucher.
Step 6: After Adding purchase order Go to Transactions then click on Purchase Order.
Sep 7: Then click on List and open purchase order selecting the date range.
Step 8: Enter into the voucher and press ALT+P to print.
Step 9: Purchase order invoice configuration will appear then check options accordingly and save it.
Step 10: Further invoice printing window will show then you can choose format for printing such as standard and click on Print.

I want to add users/logins to BUSY for my staff. How do I set up and manage users in BUSY?

 If you want to add users/logins in BUSY for your staff, you need to follow below steps. 
Step 1: Open BUSY and log in with your main user account.
Step 2: Look for the administration menu and select Users.
Step 3: Click on Add User to create a new user account.
Step 4: Provide the needed information for the new user, like their username, password, and email.
Step 5: Decide what that user can do by giving them a permission level like Administrator (full control), Sub User (some control), or Data Entry Operator (limited control).
Step 6: Save the changes. If you need to add more users, go back to Step 3 and repeat the process.
Step 7: If you want to use BUSY on other computers, install it on those machines, and set the location where data is stored through a network path. This way, multiple users can access the software and share information.

 To add or remove user in BUSY you can follow given instructions: 
Solution 1 : For add users in BUSY.
. Open company in BUSY.
. Go in administration.
. Then select users option.
. Then a window will appear as,BUSY users/Cloud users.
. Select the relevant users option in which you want to add.
. click on add option.
. Then mention user name, Password and re check the password.
. Then define rights of user control and menu rights.
. Save it.
Note: You can add user through Superuser Only.
Solution 2: : For remove users in BUSY.
. Open company in BUSY.
. Go in administration.
. Then select users option.
. Then a window will appear as,BUSY users/Cloud users.
. Select the relevant users option in which you want to remove.
. Then click on list option.
. Select the user name and delete through F8.
. Or can delete through,In useres select modify then open the user name then delete through F8.
Note: You can delete user through Superuser Only.

How to assign default ledger accounts for BUSY users?

What are the different types of user accounts and access levels in BUSY?

 In BUSY you can divide the users in two categories, which are: Super User and Sub Users.
When you create a new company, You can create Super User, who has the right to create other users, grant/deny them rights/access to various activities such as modifying vouchers, masters, company information, changing price, discount in vouchers and so on.
Hierarchy Level: You can specify the Hierarchy level of the User in the company. The person having the highest authority should be assigned level as 0 then the Users subordinate to him should be assigned hierarchy level as 1 and so on.
Furthermore the hierarchy level in BUSY determines the access and visibility of the User Log and Message Centre features. A user can send notes and view the log activities of the users below him in the hierarchy. For example, a Manager can see and communicate with Asst. Manager, Team Leaders and Executives, but an Executive cannot see or communicate with anyone else.
