In BUSY, you can import masters such as Items, Accounts, Brokers, Authors, Employees, Contacts, and Bill of Materials. Additionally, you can import vouchers including Sales, Purchase, Sales Return, Purchase Return, Stock Transfer, Material issued to the Party, Material Received from the Party, Payment, Receipt, Journal, Contra, Debit Note (Without Items), and Credit Note (Without Items).
To import data from Excel/CSV files into BUSY, follow these steps:
1. Open BUSY.
2. Administration
3. Data Export Import
4. Import Master from Excel [For master import]
5. Import Voucher from Excel [ For voucher import]
6. Configure and connect the Excel field with BUSY fields
7. Specify the Excel file path
8. Specify the Excel sheet number, starting row and ending row
9. Import

Step 1: Check excel file should not contain any formating anf formulaized values or can check with new excel file
Step 2: Check for correct financial year and date format.
Step 3: Check party name, item name, units, sale/purchase type or bill sundries should have same spellings and format as mentioned in BUSY
Step 4: Check wheather BUSY able to export file in excel or not. if not, kindly repair your microsoft office programe from control panel.

Step 1: Make sure to have same configuration in target and source company.

Why do I have to make entries twice for two different banks, is there a way to simplify this process?
It is necessary to make separate entries for transactions in different banks in BUSY. However, You can import the voucher in bulk through excel in order to simplify this process. Follow these steps to import voucher from excel in BUSY:
Step 1: Go to the Administration tab and click on the Data Export Import.
Step 2: Choose the Import Vouchers from Excel option and select the required voucher type.
Step 3: After selecting the voucher type, click on the configure button and create a format for the voucher.
Step 4: Then, map the fields in BUSY with the columns in Excel. You can select the fields from the drop-down list and match them with the Excel columns.
Step 5: Select the Excel File Path and enter the Starting & Ending Row and Sheet Number of your Excel file. Then, click on the Import button and wait for the import process to complete
How do I link bank accounts and import bank statements into BUSY?
To link bank accounts and import bank statements into BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1:In BUSY, go to administration and select master.
Step 2:Click on Account and choose Add New Bank Account.
Step 3:Fill in details like bank name, account number, and account group, then save.
Step 4:To import bank statements, go to administration again.
Step 5:Click on Data Export Import and select import vouchers from Excel.
Step 6:Choose voucher types payment, receipt, contra for bank data import.
Step 7:Go to format and select configure, then match columns with Excel.
Step 8:Select the bank account for statement import.
Step 9:Choose the file with the bank statement and click Import.

Point number 1:In BUSY, you can import only one file at a time, and you can select only one sheet at a time from that file. This means you can't import multiple files all at once.

Step 1 : take backup of your data
Step 2 : click on administration
Step 3 : go to "Data export Import" section.
Step 4 . Select the option to import data from the desired financial year.
Step 5 : Choose the file format (such as Excel, CSV, or JSON) for the data you want to upload.
Step 6 : Browse and select the file containing the data for the specific financial year.
Step 7 : Map the columns in the file to the corresponding fields in BUSY.
Step 8 : Click on the "Import" or "Upload" button to start the data upload process.
Step 9 . Wait for the software to process and import the data for the selected financial year.
Step 10: Repeat the above Steps for each additional financial year you want to upload data for.
