BUSY might not have direct settings to change the default PDF reader within the application itself. However, you can change the default PDF reader printing option from BUSY as follows : 
1. Go to administration. 
2. Go to configuration. 
3. Go to Hardware configuration. 
4. Select the Default printer driver in that DoPDF or Microsoft print to PDF, Etc. 
5. After that while Printing the invoice its default printer selected to DoPDF.

To select for saving print as PDF in BUSY, you need to click on the Print button or press ALT+P on your keyboard to open the print window. Then select the printing format that you prefer and click on the Export button. Choose PDF as the Data Format and select the location where you want to save the PDF file. Finally, click on the OK button to export your invoice to PDF.

You can export your invoice in three types of format and these are PDF,HTML and XML and to export you can follow some steps: 
 Step 1: Open your invoice and click on Print Option. 
 Step 2: Now select your invoice format and then click on Export option. 
 Step 3: Now select the Data format type and give the path where invoice will be export and press ok option.

To export from Preview in PDF you need to follow some steps:
Step 1: Go to the Transaction and then select the voucher type that is required.
Step 2: Now click on Modify option and click on Print option.
Step 3: Now select the invoice or voucher to print and then select the format.
Step 4: Now click on Preview option and click PDF option and select the location where you want to 
save in system.

No,to generate invoice in PDF you do not need to purchase API. You need to follow some to generate invoice in PDF:
Step 1: Click on Invoice that you want in PDF format and click on Print option.
Step 2: Now select invoice format and click on Export Option.
Step 3: Now select PDF in Data Format Type and give path where you want to export in system and click on OK option.

If you want to share reports from BUSY with your auditor or accountant, you have several options to do so. You can export the reports in the format of your choice, such as Excel, PDF, etc., and then attach them to an email or send them through any other apps. 
 Alternatively, you can also use BUSY’s built in features to email or whatsapp the report directly from the software.

To export reports to Excel or PDF in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
1. Open the desired report in BUSY.
2. Click on the "Export" button or go to the "File" menu and select "Export".
3. Choose the format you want to export the report to (Excel or PDF).
4. Select the destination folder where you want to save the exported file.
5. Click on the "Export" or "Save" button to complete the process.

To print or save a bill as PDF from BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the voucher which you want to print or save as PDF.
Step 2: Click on Print button or press ALT+P.
Step 3: Select your printing format and click on Print and wait for printing process from your printer.
Step 4: After selecting format click on Export and select PDF and specify location then press OK.

You can export an invoice in PDF, HTML, or XML format. Follow the below steps to export a particular invoice.
Step 1: While saving the entry, the print detail window will appear.
Step 2: Click on the sales invoice option on the print details window.
Step 3: Click click export option and select data format.
Step 4: Select the folder symbol to select the path where you need to export the format.

Yes, you can export master data in XML format from BUSY. To do so, follow these steps: 
Step 1: Go to Administration menu 
Step 2: Click on Data export/Import, Select data/export import(XML) 
Step 3: Click on export data, select master type to be exported and select balance type closing / opening which is exported with masters 
Step 4: Specify a folder path where file has to be exported.
