Yes, the opening or closing balance of masters such as Item Master and Account Master can be exported through XML in BUSY Accounting software. Follow the step to export :
Step 1: Go to administration then data export import 
Step 2: Then select data export import XML
Step 3: Now select export data then masters
Step 4: Select balance to be exported as per requirement opening or closing then export 

To save the sale return invoice as a PDF, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open that sales return voucher and click on print button or press ALT+P.
Step 2: Click on sales return invoice then select the format, enter the number of copies and click on export button.
Step 3: Select data format as PDF then select the location to save that and press ok to proceed.

No it is not possible to restrict number of master to be exported through xml , you can select the type of master to be exported. Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to administration then data export import 
Step 2: Then select data export import XML
Step 3: Now select export data then masters
Step 4: Tick the master you want to export then mention path and export 

To export a sale quotation voucher in PDF format, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open that sales quotation voucher and click on print button or press ALT+P.
Step 2: Click on sale quotation then select the format, enter the number of copies and click on export button.
Step 3: Select data format as PDF then select the location to save that and press ok to proceed.

To download a PDF file from BUSY, you can go to the respective Invoice, Reports (e.g., Accounts, Inventory, etc.), select the desired data, Use the "Export" (ALT+E) option to export reports it in a PDF format press OK.
 To Export an invoice, open the required invoice then click on Print button or press ALT+P and select the printing format then can export in PDF format.

To print Original and Duplicate copy in one time, follow below steps:
Step 1: Open the invocie in Modify mode, which you want to export in PDF
Step 2: Click on Print option or press Atl+P from your keyboard 
Step 3: Mention no of copies as 2 
Step 4: Click on Export button
Step 5: Select type as PDF
Step 6: Define Path of folder, click OK button

To export the account ledger in PDF, follow the below steps:
Step 1: Press ALT+L to open account ledger window.
Step 2: Select the account ledger name then enter the date range and open it.
Step 3: Click on export button or press ALT+E and choose the data format as PDF.
Step 4: Select the location where you want to export the pdf then press ok to proceed.

To fix the "permission denied" error when exporting documents, you need to ensure that you have the necessary permissions to access and export the document. You may need to check your account permissions and grant access to the necessary folders or files. Additionally, you may need to check for any antivirus software that may be blocking the export and temporarily disable it.

The basic difference of data getting export in excel or pdf is that :
 1: In excel you can do some modification regarding name,amount or can sort and apply filter in data, also in excel you can apply formula as per your requirement.
 2 : In PDF you cannot do any changes also cannot sort or filter data according to your requirements.
