To take a backup of sql data from the client system, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY in client system then select backup data option under the company menu.
Step 2: Select the company and enter the username and password if required then specify the backup path where you want to save backup files and specify shared folder path also for backup in case of sql data.
Step 3: Select financial year then press ok to proceed.

BUSY also provides an option to backup data through BUSY Agent on local system, Google Drive, or by copying the data folder to an external drive. To take a backup of your data, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSYand select Backup Dataoption from Company tab.
Step 2: choose the company that you want to backup.
Step 3: Enter your username and password if required and select the location where you want to save your backup file.
Step 4: Select the financial year that you want to backup, either All F.Y. or Selected F.Y. and click on the OK button to start the backup process.

To take backup of current company fro  BUSY, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1: Open BUSY application then click on backup data under the company menu.
Step 2: Select the company for which you want to take backup and enter the username and password.(If required)
Step 3: Specify the path for backup and select either all financial year or one financial year.
Step 4: Press ok to start the process and check after complete it.

Yes, you can keep the backup of previous years' data as a separate company in BUSY. Follow below steps : 
Step 1: Go to the Administration menu and select restore option
Step 2: Provide the path for backup where your backup folder exist
Step 3: When you will restore data then it will show you a message that data already exist do you want to overwrite, you can No this option to create a new company.

To migrate data from one system to another, follow the steps below: 
 Step 1: Take a backup of all data from BUSY on the system using a pendrive or hard disk. 
 Step 2: Attach the pendrive or hard disk to the other system where you want to use it. 
 Step 3: Restore the data to the system folder. 
 Step 4: Provide the data path in BUSY to run it.

Yes, you can restore data in BUSY using a backup file.
To restore data from a backup file in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then click on Restore Data under the Company menu.
Step 2: Select the folder path in which backup files are stored.
Step 3: Press Ok to proceed and if same company is already exist then it ask for overwrite it. You can select yes or no as required.

To restore backup in BUSY you need to follow the steps 
 Step1 Open BUSY and click on Restore data option from the home screen menu of BUSY 
 Step2 select the specific data path from where data will restore and need to ensure that 
 the data path should be till the last folder of data backup 
 Step3 press ok and wait for the restoration process and press ok after complete

In BUSY, you can take the backup by following these steps:
Step 1: Open the BUSY application 
Step 2: Go to company section and click on Backup data option
Step 3: Now, select the required company for which you want to create backup and mention the login credentials if have.
Step 4: Specify the path for backup 
Step 5: Start the backup process. Once the process is complete, you can proceed to update the BUSY release.
