To change the data path in BUSY you need to go Set Data Directory option under the company menu and can change the data path and make sure to keep your data on new path
 To change the default backup path in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
 Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
 Step 2: Select Backup Configuration and here you can change the backup path day wise.

If the data backup you received seems to be corrupted and some vouchers are missing, you need to check the below reasons:
1. You need to take the backup data you received and re-index the data.
2. If the above option does not work, you have to take another backup to continue working.
3. If the above option does not work, you have to share your received data with the support team to repair the data.

If you want to restore a backup which was taken previously in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
 Step 1: Open BUSY and select "Restore Data" option from Company tab.
 Step 2: Choose the folder that contains backup files and click on OK button to start the restoring process.
 Step 3: If same data already exist in then BUSY will provide you an option to override it. You can chosse Yes/No as required.

To restore your company data from a backup in BUSY Please follow these steps:
 Step 1: Open your BUSY
 Step 2: Then click on restore data 
 Step 3: Afterwards specify the path where is your backup stored
 Step 4: Then proceed for restoration of backup
 Step 5: While restoring data if it is showing overwrite option always try to select it as no otherwise backup will be merged in your existing data

To resolve the issue of missing data from last month in BUSY, you can try the following steps:
 1. Ensure that you are viewing the correct date range and that the data is not filtered out.
 2. Check your data location that are you using your data from current data location or not.
 3. If you have a backup of the data, restore it to see if the missing data is included.

There is only one way to undo merged entries in BUSY through restore data backup which you take before merging the entries.
Please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Company menu (before loging the company)
Step 2: Click on Restore Data 
Step 3: Sepacify the backup data location on path for restoration 
Step 4: And then restore the backup & then click on NO for Overwrite so that BUSY create a new company of backup data.

The backup data option appears in the Company tab of BUSY Accounting Software.
To take backup of your data in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then click on Backup Data under the Company menu.
Step 2: Select the company of which you want to take backup and enter the login credentials.
Step 3: Select the backup path and you can select All financial year or single financial as required then proceed.

In BUSY, you can take the backup by following these steps:
Step 1: Open the BUSY application 
Step 2: Go to company section and click on Backup data option
Step 3: Now, select the required company for which you want to create backup and mention the login credentials if have.
Step 4: Specify the path for backup 
Step 5: Start the backup process. Once the process is complete, you can proceed to update the BUSY release.

For Take data backup in BUSY follow below steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then go to backup data
Step 2: Now choose company of which you want to take backup
Step 3: Mention user name and password if Required then choose backup path where you want to take backup
Step 4: Choose all financial year in select financial years
Step 5: Click on Ok and click ok start backup 
Step 6: Now click No after show backup successful

In BUSY, you can take the backup of company before migrating to a new version by follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the BUSY application 
Step 2: Go to company section and click on Backup data option
Step 3: Now, select the specific company for which you want to create backup and mention the login credentials if have.
Step 4: Specify the path for backup 
Step 5: Start the backup process and let it complete.
