Frequently Asked Questions

If you are not able to take a backup of your company there could be a several reasons of it:
1. Make sure your user have rights to take a backup in your company in case of subuser
2. Ensure that BUSYwin folder have full rights and BUSY is opened as an admin mode
3. If you have corruption in your database you may face issue while taking a backup

If you want email a copy of your companies data from BUSY to your self then please
 follow then given steps
 Step 1: Open BUSY then backup data and select company and enter user name and 
 password.
 Step 2: Then select folder and set backup path location.
 Step 3: Then compress all backup file into rar and atach file in the mail and send.

If the Company is deleted from the pendrive , please follow below steps : 
Step 1: From BUSY company delete is permanently . 
Step 2 : To restored the data you need to restrore from the backup files.
For restroed delete company data : 
Step 1:- Go to company menu
Step 2:- backup data
Step 3:- Mention path for backup .
Step 4:- Click ok and start the process. "	

To recover or restore your missing data or reports in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
 Step 1: Restore your data from a backup file that you have created earlier.
 Step 2: Check your permission level to access the report that you are looking for. You can log in to your company with Super / Admin user and see if the data is visible or not.

When your previous backup has been overwritten that means you have taken the backup from the BUSY backup configuration option on same folder ,it will overwrite it if already backup exists there. So,We need to change the backup path. 
 Use BUSY Agent to prevent the backup overwritten Issue,it takes the backup as per time which we specify it and new folder get created automatically.

To take a backup in pendrive , please follow the below steps: 
Step 1:   and select Backup Data option from Company tab.
Step 2: Choose the folder that contains backup files and click on OK  button to start the restoring process.
Step 3: If same data already exist in then BUSY will provide you an option to override it. You can chosse Yes/No as required.         

You can restore your data from the backup file that downloaded from google or Gmail you need to follow some steps:
Step 1: Click on the Restore data option in company menu.
Step 2: Now enter the path or select from browser and click on OK option.
Step 3: Now select No option for overwrite no if company already exist in list for not to loss of exiting data.

To take backup before making changes to the accounts in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then select backup data option under the company menu.
Step 2: Select your company then enter the username and password (If required).
Step 3: Specify the backup path where you want to take backup and select either all financial year of single financial year then press ok to proceed.

There are several possible reasons why you are unable to view or access your local drive backup. Some of the common causes are:
 1. The backup file may be corrupted or incomplete. This can happen if the backup process was interrupted or failed. 
 2. The backup file may be hidden or protected by the system.
 3. The backup file may have insufficient permissions or ownership.

For Backup : We can take company wise backup. Pls Follow the Below Steps :
Step 1: Company Menu
Step 2: Backup Data
Step 3: Select the company for data backup
Step 4: Mention the User and Password 
Step 5: Select Financial Year and specify the backup folder path.
Restore Data :
Step 1: Company Menu
Step 2: Restore Data
Step 3: Specify the backup folder path
Step 4: Restore it with Overwrite No option.
