To restore backup in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
 Step 1: Open BUSY and select "Restore Data" option from Company tab.
 Step 2: Choose the folder that contains backup files and click on OK button to start the restoring process.
 Step 3: If same data already exist in then BUSY will provide you an option to override it. You can chosse Yes/No as required.

Yes, you can configure the backup prompt option when closing the company in BUSY, for that you need to follow these steps :
Step 1: Go to administration then select configuration.
Step 2: Then select backup configuration, define path of folders where you want to take backup day wise and now enabled option 'Prompt backup at the time of closing the company' then click on save button.

Step 1: First check issue in particular one company or in all companies.
Step 2: If single company then run reindex database from housekeeping menu then check.
Step 3: Change the backup path and check.
Step 4: Run your BUSY as an administrator.
Note: Copy your data before running the reindex process.

If you have delete any account during merging master in BUSY, you can restore the backup file in BUSY. To restore the backup data, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the BUSY then click on company menu.
Step 2: Select the restore data option then specify the backup path for restoration.
Step 3: Click on ok tab then select yes for data restoration and select No for overwrite.

If BUSY is asking for another data directory, this could be due to an invalid data directory. To resolve it, check the following suggestions:
1. Ensure data is present in the data path.
2. Ensure you have full rights to access the data folder.
3. Ensure the company is not already open when using a single-user license.
4. If the issue still persists, contact customer support for further assistance.
