Yes, you can take backup from the client system of BUSY.
To take backup of your data from the client system in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then click on Backup Data under the Company menu.
Step 2: Select the company of which you want to take backup and enter the login credentials.
Step 3: Select the backup path and you can select All financial year.

If you want to restore data backup of BUSY so fix old backup as follows:
Step 1: If you want to restore data backup with replace new one then pick option overwrite yes.
Step 2: If you want to restore data backup with no replace then pick option no in overwrite.
Step 3: Also you can restore data backup with option restore data.
Step 4: Then select this option under company menu.

To restore data from backup in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
 Step 1: Open BUSY and select "Restore Data" option from Company tab.
 Step 2: Choose the folder that contains backup files and click on OK button to start the restoring process.
 Step 3: If same data already exist in then BUSY will provide you an option to override it. You can chosse Yes/No as required.

If you cannot find your yesterday's voucher, you can check it by restoring data if you have a yesterday backup of your data. Otherwise, there are no other options to relocate for restoring data. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY.
Step 2: Click on Restore Data.
Step 3: Select the path of the data where you have the backup.
Step 4: Data will be restored only in ZIP file format.

To restore BUSY data from a backup, follow these steps:
 1. Open BUSY.
 2. Go to the "Company" menu.
 3. Select the "Restore Data" option.
 4. Specify the path where the backup copy is located.
 5. Click the "OK" button to restore the data.
 6. Wait for the restoration process to complete.
 7. Once the data is restored, you can access your restored data in BUSY.

To take a backup in BUSY before running any maintenance utilities follow the below mentioned Steps:
Step 1: Open the BUSY
Step 2: Click on Backup Data 
Step 3: Selec the the company 
Step 4: Enter the User Id and Password 
Step 5: Set the data directory where you want to take backup 
Step 6: Select the financial year which you want to take backup
Step 7: Click on Ok

Restore Data: To restore data in BUSY Accounting Software follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY Accounting Software and select Restore Data option from Company tab.
Step 2: Choose the folder that contains backup files and click on OK  button to start the restoring process.
Step 3: If same data already exist in then BUSY will provide you a option to override it. You can choose Yes/No as required. 

Once voucher is deleted in BUSY, it cannot be restored.you will need to create a new voucher.
In case you have data backup then can restore it
To restore backup data follow the below given steps:
Step 1: Click on Company menu and then select Restore data 
Step 2: Give the backup data path
Step 3: Click on Ok or Press F2
Step 4: A popup will appear for overwrite Select No.

Yes, it is recommended to take a backup of your data before deleting a list in BUSY. Follow these steps to take backup:
Step 1: Open BUSY then click on company menu.
Step 2: Choose the backup data option then select required company
Step 3: Mention the company admin username and password and click on ok tab
Step 4: Specify the path for backup and click on ok to take backup.

If you data is not showing in BUSY follow the below steps:
Step1: Please verify that you are checking the correct data in the appropriate drive and folder.
Step2: Then copy the path or location of the data directory and go to company menu after opening the BUSY software
Step3: Now click on Set data directory option and paste here the path of the data directory and then press OK
