Pls Follow the Below Steps for Data Backup :
 Step 1: Click on company menu
 Step 2: Then backup data
 Step 3: Select the company for which you want to take the backup 
 Step 4: Then mention the user name and password,select for which financial year you want to take the backup
 Step 5: Specify the folder path for the backup.

To know about the backup process in BUSY follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your BUSY 
Step 2: Then click on backup data option then select the company and specify the backup path 
Step 3: Then proceed for the backup

The error “Database already exist” means that there is already a backup file in the location where you want to save your backup. You have two options to resolve this error:
 1. You can overwrite the existing backup file by proceeding with the backup process.
 2. You can change the backup path to a different location where there is no backup file.

If the four year old company is in backup files form then you can restore it in BUSY by using these steps:
Step 1: Open the BUSY then click on Restore Data under the Company menu.
Step 2: Select the folder path in which the backup files are kept.
Step 3: Press Ok to proceed then you can open that company from Open Company menu.

To take backup of the last financial year of your company, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then select backup data option under the company menu.
Step 2: Select your company then enter the username and password (If required).
Step 3: Specify the backup path where you want to take backup and select the last financial year then press ok to proceed.

You can take backup of your BUSY data, by using these methods:
1. Use the Backup Data option available in the BUSY and take backup of each company.
2. Can copy whole data folder and keep it in your external drive.
3. You can also use the BUSY Agent application which allows you to schedule your backup and save it on local and Google drive.

If you are unable to take backup in BUSY, check the possible solution:
1. Make sure that you mention the correct username and password of company.
2. Enough space must be available in the drive in which you are taking backup.
3. The defined folder must have security rights.
4. In case of taking backup with sub user credential then that user should have backup rights.

To restore a backup data in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then click on Restore Data under the Company menu.
Step 2: Select the folder path in which backup files are stored.
Step 3: Press Ok to proceed and if same company is already exist then it ask for overwrite it. You can select yes or no as required.

To restore data in BUSY Accounting Software, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then click on Restore Data under the Company menu.
