To restore a backup data in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then click on Restore Data under the Company menu.
Step 2: Select the folder path in which backup files are stored then click ok to restore and select no to overwrite tab.

By default backups in BUSY are stored in the installation directory but you can manually change the backup 
configuration follow the steps to change backup configuration 
1 Go to administration menu and click on configuration 
2 click on backup configuration 
3 set the day wise backup configuration path and make Y on prompt for backup at the time of closing company

To take backup of a single financial year of a company in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then select backup data option under the company menu.
Step 2: Select the company and enter the username and password if required then specify the backup path where you want to save backup files.
Step 3: Select financial year then press ok to proceed.

When you take the backup from BUSY., You can clean your old backup from the location where you have taken the backup.Either can delete the old backup folder or can shift to the different location.
 Futher we have Retain Option in BUSY agent,When we mention the retain days and the data will get delete automatically as per the retain days.

You can follow these steps to take backup in BUSY Before filling GST Return :
Step 1: Go to Company Menu and click on Backup Data option.
Step 2: Now select the company and enter user name and password and specify the path where you want to take backup by click on browser.
Step 3: Now select the FY and click on OK option.

If you want to take backup then please follow the given steps
Step 1: open BUSY then select company menu.
Step 2: Then select backup data then select company then enter the 
 super user name password if ask.
Step 3: Then set the data path where you want to take backup then ok.
Step 4: Then start backup will open click on ok button.

If backup data is deleted in BUSY, you can troubleshoot the issue by checking if you have any other backup files available. If you have multiple backups, you can restore the most recent one. If you don't have any backups, it may not be possible to recover the deleted data. It is important to regularly take backups to avoid such situations.

You can restore your data backup in BUSY
 Please follow the given steps
 Step 1 Open BUSY software
 Step 2 Click on Restore data
 Step 3 Select here folder in which data backup available
 Step 4 Click on OK and restore data
 Step 5 If same company name available, then it will ask for overwrite, so click on NO and check

For Database run smoothly you need to take regulary backup.
There are many ways to take backup:

2: Click on backup data and select company.

4: Give path for backup and select all financial year and OK.
Step 2: You can copy of your data as it is in safe drive from data directory.

To take backup from BUSY,you can follow given steps:
 Step 1:Open the BUSY Software,
 Step 2:In the list,you can see the option is Backup Data,click on it.
 Step 3:Select Company,and please provide the path where you want to take the backup.
 Step 4:Click ok to take backup,the backup will be successfully done.
 Now you can make any chnages in BUSY.
