Pls Follow the Below Steps for Backup :
 Step 1: Click on company menu
 Step 2: Then backup data
 Step 3: select the company for which you want to take the backup then mention the user name and password,select for which financial year you want to take the backup and specify the folder path for the backup.

To restore the original voucher numbers from a backup, you can use the "Restore Data" option in BUSY. Go to the company menu and select the "Restore Data" option. Specify the path where the backup copy is located and restore the data from there. This will help you revert any changes and retrieve the original voucher numbers.

To transfer your company data to a new computer or laptop in BUSY Accounting software, you need to first take a backup of your data and save it to an external device such as a pen drive. Then, install BUSY Accounting software on the new computer or laptop and restore the backup data from the external device.

To save a company's data and send it to another person follow below steps: 
Step 1: Go to company menu then select backup data option.
Step 2: Then select the company whose data you want to backup.
Step 3: Then specify the path for backup 
Step 4: Now select the derised financial year to take backup and press ok

To restore data on the different system please follow below steps to restore data :
Step 1: Go to company menu
Step 2: Select restore data option 
Step 3: In this window you have to specify the backup folder path and click on the ok button. 
Step 4: Select the option for restore it with Overwrite Yes/ No option.

To backup your data before updating prices in BUSY, follow these steps: 
Step 1: Open BUSY then click on company menu.
Step 2: Choose the backup data option then select required company
Step 3: Mention the company admin username and password and click on ok tab
Step 4: Specify the path for backup and click on ok to take backup.

To take backup of data before merging accounts in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then click on company menu.
Step 2: Choose the backup data option then select required company
Step 3: Mention the company admin username and password and click on ok tab
Step 4: Specify the path for backup and click on ok to take backup.

To take backup of BUSY data, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then click on company menu.
Step 2: Choose the backup data option then select required company
Step 3: Mention the company admin username and password and click on ok tab
Step 4: Specify the path for backup, select the financial year and click on ok to take backup.

In BUSY, There is issue is coming for not able to take backup then Pls follow the Below Steps :
 Step 1: Give the full rights to the backup folder. If still same issue then change the location and take the backup.
 Step 2: if still same issue then after data backup run reindex database from Housekeeping.

To check and change the backup location in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
 Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
 Step 2: Select Backup Configuration and here you can check and change the backup path day wise.
 If you are using BUSY Agent then you can change the backup path under the Backup Configuration(Local).
