To transfer your data to a new system when renewing your BUSY license, you need to take a backup of your data and copy it to the new system. Then, install the BUSY software on the new system and restore the backup from company menu restore data to access your data.

To restore the data backup of particular company in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the BUSY then click on company menu.
Step 2: Select the restore data option then specify the backup path for restoration.
Step 3: Click on ok tab then select yes for data restoration and select No for overwrite.

While data restoring is not done , please follow the below steps: 
Step 1: Check the Backup file . 
Step 2: check the restoration path in BUSY . 
Step 3 : Check the  restoration folder space . 
Step 4: Try to create a new folder to restored a data backup 

if system keeps shutting down due to power cuts. then thereis way to prevent data loss when this happens for that 
1. take a backup on daily basis on your external hard drive or google drive.
2. or you can copy data folder and save it in another drive or folder.

If you restored a backup in BUSY but now a new company is created, it means you have to select the option NO to Overwrite when you restore the data, so if you don't want to create a new company, then you have to click Yes on the Overwrite option.

When your hardware get corrupted and device format , you have to restore your accounting data backup .To restore data follow the steps below :
Step 1: Go to restore data from company menu 
Step 2: Select data path in which backup is present 
Step 3: Click on ok then restore

The data restore is not working properly in BUSY to restore data follow these steps 
1. open BUSY 
2. click on restore backup 
3. select the last working backup path from your local drive
4. and proceed to restore the backup. 
5. make sure that the backup file is relevant .

If you have access database then your data is secure in your system harddisk
And if you are using sql database then your data is secure in your SQL server ,
but still for a security purpose we will still recommend you to take the backup of your data on daily basis
