Transactions may not show properly in reports after a backup restore if the backup was not taken properly or if there were errors during the restore process. It is important to ensure that the backup is taken correctly and that the restore process is error-free to avoid issues with data.
How can I verify the success of a local backup in BUSY?
To confirm that your backups are successful, you can view the Log Details in BUSY Agent. This will show you the status, date, time,etc of each backup. You can also check the backup files on your local drive. They should be in the form of DATA and DISK1 in folder.
How do I shut down the software and backup the data?
To shut down software and take backup of company , follow the steps below:
Step 1: After closing company go to backup data
Step 2: Select company then choose path for taking data
Step 3: Press ok
Step 4: After taking backup click in exit BUSY then BUSY will be closed
How can I take a backup before making changes in BUSY?

Step 1: Click on Company Menu
Step 2: Then Backup Data
Step 3: Select the company for data backup
Step 4: Mention the User and Password

If you have access database then your data is secure in your system harddisk
And if you are using sql database then your data is secure in your SQL server ,
but still for a security purpose we will still recommend you to take the backup of your data on daily basis
I updated some transactions in BUSY but now there are issues. It seems to be connecting to the old data. What should I do?
To fix the BUSYs connection to old data after updating transactions follow the steps
1 Set BUSY data directory properly it could be possible that due to wrong selection of
data directory its showing wrong data
2 check BUSY agent backup and restore the last backup taken in BUSY
I am unable to take a backup of my BUSY data. What is the right way to take a backup before updates?
To take backup of BUSY data please follow below steps
Step 1: Open BUSY and go to company menu.
Step 2: Click on backup data.
Step 3: Mentioned user name password if any
Step 4: Specify folder path to take backup
Step 5: click okay for start backup
What's the difference between backing up data on MS Access and SQL for BUSY?
One of the ways to distinguish between MS Access and SQL database backup is by looking at the types of backup files that are generated. For MS Access database, the backup files are named DATA and DISK1, while for SQL database, the backup files are named DATACS and DISK1.CS.

To recover deleted voucher in BUSY you have to restore your backup in which that data is present.
