To get your deleted general ledger entry from last month re-entered, you can restore a backup of your data from before the entry was deleted or manually re-enter the entry into the software.

Can the backup of the data be restored in case of data corruption or virus attack?

Yes, the backup of the data can be restored in case of data corruption or virus attack in BUSY. It is recommended to take regular backups to ensure the safety of your data.

Where are backups saved by default in BUSY? Can I customize the backup location?

In BUSY, there is not any default folder for backup. Further where you take backup that folder will be the default folder for next time. You can change the backup location if needed.

How can i take backup of the company data while using BUSY online?

In case of using BUSY online, you need to share request mail for backup data on support@busy.in through authorised mail id with BUSY online subscription id, company name, contact name and contact number.

What file backups does BUSY create and how do I access them?

BUSY create two files as BUSY backup that contain all the company data. These backup files can be accessed through the restore option of BUSY Software which is available in the Company menu.

To restore data in different path , please follow the below steps:
Step 1:- Go to company menu
Step 2:- backup data
Step 3:- Mention path for backup .

I need to show my updated data to someone. What is the best way to share my data from the BUSY system?

If you want to show updated data to someone can share backup file of the company by company menu- backup data - select company - and take latest backup of the company.

To restore data backup in BUSY , please follow below steps:
Step 1:- Go to company menu

If your financial data seems incorrect after the update, you need to restore the backup of data that you took before the update, and then you can identify where the mismatch happened.

The data migration is taking a long time and seems stuck. What should I do?
