Backup Data: To take backup of your data from BUSY follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select "Backup Data" option from Company tab.
Step 2: choose the company that you want to backup.
Step 3: Enter your username and password if required and select the location where you want to save your backup file.
Step 4: Select the financial year that you want to backup, either All F.Y. or Selected F.Y. and click on the OK button to start the backup process.
Restore Data: To restore data in BUSY follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select "Restore Data" option from Company tab.
Step 2: Choose the folder that contains backup files and click on OK button to start the restoring process.
Step 3: If same data already exist in then BUSY will provide you an option to override it. You can chosse Yes/No as required.

These are the steps for taking backup of the company:
 Step 1: Open BUSY Software
 Step 2: Go to the Company Menu
 Step 3: Click on Backup data option
 Step 4: you will get a list of all company
 Step 5: Select the company in which you want to take backup 
 Step 6: Mention the Company login credential i.e user name and password
 Step 7: Click on OK Button 
 Step 8: Specify Path or location for taking backup of the company 
 Step 9: Select Single OR All financial year for backup 
 Step 10: Click on Ok Button 
 Step 11: You will get a pop-up window i.e Proceeding for the backup of the company then click on OK Button
 Step 12: Once the Backup is finished, You will get a confirmation message of successful backup

To backup data there can be different way to do so, for that follow these steps:
BACKUP FROM BUSY
1. Open BUSY application
2. Click on Company option having a backup company option click on the same.
3. Mention the desired location for the backup.
4. Click on backup option and backup done on that location.
BACKUP FROM DATA FOLDER
1. Go to the data directory for the same.
2. Open the data folder for the same.
3. Copy COMP folder from the same.
4. It can also work as backup for your data.
Also can use our appkication BUSY AGENT for auto backup option 
To restore the data, Please follwo these steps for the same 
Backup data take from BUSY
1. Open BUSY application.
2. Click on company option having restore data option click on the same.
3. mention the location from where you want to restore data.
4 . Click on restore .

For New Laptop,Take the backup of your data then download the BUSY from www.busy.in site then extract it and install it. 
 Pls Follow the Below Steps for Data Restore Process :
 For Backup Files : 
 Step 1: Click on Company Menu
 Step 2: Then Restore data
 Step 3: Specify the backup folder path in which have backup files of the data and restore it with Overwrite NO. Overwrite option will only show if we have data in BUSY with the same company. After overwrite new company will get create instead of overwriting the existing company.
 For Comp Files :
 Step 1: Click on Company Menu
 Step 2: Then Set Data Directory
 Step 3: Specify the Data folder path - Here select the data path till data folder name only not the company code.

Yes, there is many options to back up your data.
Please check the below options :
1 : Comany menu (without login a company) then click on backup data and then you can take data backup of your companies
2 : Go to adminstration and click on configuration then press enter on backup configuration and then you to specify the backup location days wise and then specify Y for prompt for backup at the tiem of closing the company and save. While you close your co. BUSY showing backup window through pressing ok you can take the backup.
3 : Now we have auto backup also for local drive and google drive too.Donwload BUSY agent from company menu and install it in same location in which BUSY already installed & then you can configure it for local drive auto backup/google drive /both.

In BUSY, You will get mutiple options to secure your data. Those are mentioned below:
1. Company credentials: While creating company, BUSY will ask for the authentication. 
her you can mention the user id and password. So that you can restrict others to open that company.
2. User rights: You can create additional users in your BUSY's company and can give rights accordingly.
3. Daily backup : In BUSY we have daily backup option available where you can set path for daily backup for a week. And force it for backup so that it will definitely take backup.
4. BUSY agent: We have our BUSY agent app also. Which takes backup automatically as per the backup
scheduled.
5. Auto sync backup at Google drive: Through BUSY agent you can directly take backup from you BUSY 
and can store it on Google drive authomatically.

To backup the latest data in the BUSY , Please Follow the Below Steps :
Step 1: Open BUSY and go to the Company Menu.
Step 2: From the Company menu click on submenu Backup Data
Step 3: In the populated window Company name list will be shown. 
Step 4: Now you can Select the company for data backup
Step 5: And then you have to Mention the User and Password of the same company in the given field  space.
Step 6: And specify the backup folder path in the given space . You can browse the folder path of use copy paste the folder path. 
Step 7: After selecting backup location, now you can select financial year according to your requirement. Either all year of a single year..
Step 8: And then click on the Okay button and start the process. 

To restore backup in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
 Step 1: Open BUSY and select "Restore Data" option from Company tab.
 Step 2: Choose the folder that contains backup files and click on OK button to start the restoring process.
 Step 3: If same data already exist in then BUSY will provide you an option to override it. You can chosse Yes/No as required. 
 If you encounter any errors during the restoration process, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
 Step 1: Ensure that the backup folder contains both backup files i.e, DATA, DISK1 and its not corrupted.
 Step 2: Check if the same company already exist then you can overwrite it or create a seperate company.
 Step 3: Run BUSY as an administrator mode to prevent any permission error.
