If a voucher get deleted you can restore your latest backup . If do not have backup then have to post voucher manually again.

I lost my backup file. Can I still regenerate my cancelled bill?
If you lost backup for regenerate cancel invoice you have to mention details of voucher manually after activate the cancelled voucher by Alt/ctrl+m.
Where are backups stored by default? Can I change the backup location?
Backups are stored by default on the local computer in which drive where your BUSY installed. Yes, the backup location can be changed.
Is customer data secure and encrypted within BUSY?
Yes, your data is secured if you are using BUSY software because data is save only on your system not at company side.

How large can BUSY backup files be? Is there a limit?
The backup file size is depends on the data size in BUSY and there is no specific size limit for backup file.
