How can I prevent any payment delays in BUSY?
You must use the Bill by Bill Details feature to prevent any delays in BUSY. Follow the steps below to use it:
Step 1: Go to the Administration menu and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Navigate to Features & Options and click on Account.
Step 3: Enable Bill by Bill Details and configure it.
Step 4: Return to Configuration and click on Warning Alarm.
Step 5: Set the Due Bill of Party while Invoicing option to Don't Allow.
Adding salesman details for commission in BUSY?
To add salesman wise reporting in BUSY, please follw below steps:
Step 1: Go to the Administration menu
Step 2: Click on Configuration option
Step 3: Select Feature/options and click on Accounts tab
Step 4: Enable salesman/commission wise reporting
Step 5: Define caption, voucher and commission type in configuration
Step 6: Save the configuration of accounts tab
Step 7: ADD salesman master under administration and define rate of commission
Step 8: While doing voucher entry, select salesman and SAVE voucher
Does BUSY support multiple currencies?
BUSY provides you the option for multi currency transaction, to enable this feature please follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration menu, click Configuration
Step 2: Select Feature/Option, click on Accounts tab
Step 3: Enable Multi currency option
Step 4: Add Currency details in Currency master and conversion rate in Currency conversion
Step 5: Enable multi currency option in Party Account Master also
Step 6: Add transaction and select transaction
You can check Ledger report with multi currency.
How do I check if the cost center feature is enabled in my BUSY company?
To check if the cost center feature is enabled in your BUSY company:
1. Go to Administration.
2. Navigate to Configuration.
3. Select Features/Options.
4. Click on Accounts.
5. Check whether the Cost Centre option checkbox is enabled or not.
6. Sometimes, the Cost Centre feature is enabled, but it is not enabled for the Account.
7. To check that, open the Account master in modify mode.
8. Then, verify whether Cost Centre is enabled for that account or not.
I'm having trouble with partial bill-by-bill reference adjustments. How can I enforce full allocation?
If you want to adjust the full reference amount in the voucher then you need to enable the option enforce full amount allocation to references in bill by bill feature.
Pls follow the below steps :
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Then Configurations
Step 3: Then Features and Options
Step 4: Then Account
Step 5: Then click on Bill by Bill configure option
Step 6: Enable the option enforce full amount allocation to references and save it.
How does the budgeting feature work? Can I upload my budgets from Excel?
To use budget feature in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on Accounts tab.
Step 3: Enable the option called Budgets and save changes.
Step 4: Next, when you create Direct / Indirect Expense and Fixed Assets master can define budget.
Furthermore, you can not upload your budgets from excel you have to enter manually in each account master.
How do I add an image to an account master in BUSY?
To add account master image in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration then click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on Accounts Tab.
Step 3: Enable the feature called Maintain Images/Notes with Masters/Vouchers and click on configure button.
Step 4: Specify the image folder in which you have store the image then save changes.
Note: Image name should be same as the Account master name or alias.
Can you please explain the bank reconciliation feature in BUSY Accounting Software?
To use bank reconciliation in BUSY , follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to administration configuration
Step 2: Then select features option and click on accounts option
Step 3: Enable bank reconciliation option then save
Step 4: Now go to display then bank reconciliation
Step 5: To reconcile entries go to all entries
Step 6: Select bank then date range
Step 7: Now you can reconcile entry by F4 mention clearing date in window then save
What fields are required to enter a post-dated cheque in BUSY?
To record a post-dated cheque in BUSY, you need to fill in the following fields:
1. In Payment / Receipt voucher type should be as PDC.
2. Enter the PDC Date as the date on the cheque.
3. Select the Party Ledger as the party who issued or received the cheque.
4. Select the Bank Ledger as the bank where the cheque will be deposited or cleared.
5. Enter the Amount as the value of the cheque.
I'm trying to set up a new general ledger account but it's not working right. Can you help me troubleshoot?
Yes, I can help you troubleshoot setting up a new general ledger account, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on configuration.
Step 2: Click on Features/Options and then choose account tab.
Step 3: Enable maintain sub ledger feature and save the account tab.
Step 4: Go back to Administration and click on Account tab.
Step 5: Now click on add option and specify account name and set general ledger in ledger type.
