How to modify the date of birth of the employee from employee master?
If you want to modify the date of birth of the employee from employee master please follow these steps:
Step 1: Make sure payroll feature should be enabled from enterprises features
Step 2: Go to administration menu and then click on masters submenu
Step 3: Then click on employee and open the employee master from modify or list button
Step 4: Afterwards open the employee master and change the date of birth and save the master
How do I enter details of branch in BUSY?
To enter details of branch in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company with admin user then go to administration menu and click on configuration sub menu.
Step 2: Select features and options and click on enterprise features.
Step 3: Click on branch details button next to the enable multiple branch details feature.
Step 4: Select the branch name from the dropdown and can enter details of that branch then save.
Why are some features and menu options working differently across my different company branches using BUSY?
The features and menu options may work differently across different company branches in BUSY because each branch is treated as a separate entity in the software. This means that settings, configurations, and data may vary between branches, leading to differences in functionality. To ensure consistent features and menu options, it is recommended to upgrade to the Enterprise version of BUSY, which allows for better management and synchronization of data between branches.
Separate GST registration for branches in different states?
If you have multiple branch with separate GST numbers, then you have to create separate branch in BUSY
To create multiple branch, please follow the given steps
Step 1 Go on administration
Step 2 Click on Configuration
Step 3 Click on feature options
Step 4 Click on Enterprise features
Step 5 Enable multibranch details option
Step 6 Click on branch details
Step 7 Create here branches and configure separate GST number
I am facing issues with payroll calculation and configuration. What troubleshooting can I do or who should I contact?
If you are facing issues with payroll calculation and configuration in BUSY.
Step1: Make sure that you have set up the salary structures correctly and mapped them to the payroll series.
Step2: Go to administration menu, select the master.
Step3: Click employee option and modify select the employee and see salary structure if correct map with payroll series.
Step4: In payroll voucher, payment mode select correct.
How to manage multiple branches/locations in BUSY?
We can maintain Multiple Brances with Multiple Material Centre for Same and Different Location. Pls Follow the Below Steps :
Step 1: Administration
Step 2: Configuration
Step 3: Features and Options
Step 4: Enterprise Features
Step 5: Enable Multi Branch Details
Step 6: Create Branch and Mention the required details that for which user want to allow this branch and for which voucher series, Master series group etc.
Note : Do this process after the Data Backup.
How to Validate HSN No
To search for an HSN number in BUSY, follow these steps:
Go to Administration and click on Master.
Select Item and open the item in ModiFinancial Year Mode.
On the right side of the HSN field, click on the Validate TAB.
Then, click on Search HSN SAC Code.
Choose Search HSN Description and enter the HSN SAC Description.
Click on Search or press F2.
By following these steps, you can search for any HSN number in BUSY.
Why are some branches opening fine but others are not showing any data at all?
If some branches are opening fine but others are not showing any data at all, you need to check the below reasons:
1. You need to check that the data syncs properly from HO to BO to show the accurate date.
2. Make sure all transactions are entered properly as per the defined series of branches.
3. Also, you need to update the balance from the housekeeping option to show the data.
Why is the TDS option not showing in the employee master?
If the TDS option is not showing in the employee master, then the feature of TDS is not enabled. To enable this follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu then select configuration sub menu.
Step 2: Select feature and options and click on enterprise features tab.
Step 3: Click on configuration button next to the payroll feature and after opening it tick on enable TDS on salary option then save.
Are there any plan to add payroll management features?
Yes, in Enterprise model of BUSY Payroll management feature is available
To enable the Payroll management feature follow this below given steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and then configurations
Step 2: Click on Features and option then Enterprise feature
Step 3: Enable Payroll option(Y) and then click on configuration
Step 4: Then enable the options as per requirement in Payroll Configuration window and then click on save or Press F2
