Can you check if any other user is currently using the software?

Yes, to check other user is currently using the BUSY software, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration then click on configuration.
Step 2: Select features and options and go to general tab.
Step 3: Enable user activity log and click on save button.
Step 4: Go to display and then click on check list.
Step 5: Open user activity log and check details.
NOTE : User log will start showing details from when the feature has been enabled.

What is the recommend process for a smooth audit in BUSY?

The recommended process for a smooth audit in BUSY is to maintain an audit trail and ensure that all entries add, modify and delete records. To enable it please follow the below steps:
1: Go to administration menu
2: Click on configuration and features/options
3: Click on general tab & enable audit trail and save and press ESC for quit
4: Then click on users and modify any user & then enable audit trail in user master also.

What steps should I take if I am unable to find the end-of-list option in the master dropdowns in BUSY?

Follow below steps to find the end-of-list option in the master dropdowns in BUSY:
Step 1: Go in administration.
Step 2: Select configuration option.
Step 3: Then click on features/options.
Step 4: Select General options.
Step 5: Then configuration window will be appear and on right hand you will see Show end of list in mastere's dropdown list
Step 6: Select 'Y' on that option.
Step 7: Save the configuration and check.

Can audit trail show which user created or modified a specific voucher in BUSY?

To view report of Audit Trail user wise, please follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to the Display menu
Step 2: Click on Check list
Step 3: In dropdown, select Audit trail
Step 4: Select the user name from whom you want to view report, and select the ADD, MODIFY or DELETE checkbox
Step 5: Specify date range and click OK button
Step 6: Apply filter by using Filter button or F7 on voucher type

What is the BDEP ID and where can I find it in the software?

To create or see bdep id , you can follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to administration then select configuration and click on features/options
Step 2: Then select general option now go to enable BUSY daa exchange platform BDEP
Step 3: To see your BDEP ID click on configuration next to BDEP option you can see you created BDEP ID
Step 4: To created BDEP ID click on create new id and mention details

Can I see who created or edited a particular master record?

Yes, BUSY maintains an audit trail that records who created or edited a particular master record for that you can enable and check audit trail report :
Step 1 : Click on administration
Step 2 : Then configuration
Step 3 : Then features and options
Step 4 : Select general
Step 5 : Enable audit trail and save
Step 6 : Click on display
Step 7 : Then check list
Step 8 : Audit trail
Step 9 : Check report

Can I customize the fields showed in BUSY's audit trial?

You can customize audit trail report upto a certain point. BUSY provides a custom column option in every reports. To add custom column, please follow below steps:
Step 1: open Audit trail report from Display under check list option
Step 2: Specify date range and user name
Step 3: Click on Custom Column option
Step 4: Specify format name, add desire filed and column
Step 5: To seen effect, reload the report and view with created format.

How do I enable audit trail for vouchers in BUSY?

To enable audit trail for vouchers in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options then click on General tab.
Step 3: Here. you will see an option called Maintain Audit Trail. Set Y to turn it on.
Note: If your GSTIN is registerd as company then the Audit Trail feature is automatic enabled and its complusory as per the MCA guidelines.

How do I change my report to print in landscape orientation instead of portrait?

To change your report to print in landscape orientation instead of portrait, follow these steps:
1. Configure the report using the custom column or columnar register option in BUSY.
2. Alternatively, you can view the default reports in BUSY.
3. Then, press the Alt+P shortcut to print the report.
4. Select the option "As it is from the grid."
5. Now, change the paper orientation to "Portraitor "Landscape."
6. Click "OK."
7. Print or preview the report.

What is the BUSY Data Exchange Platform (BDEP)? How do I enable it?

With the help of BDEP Service, companies can exchange their data (Invoices) with other companies using BUSY. To enable the BDEP in BUSY follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu and select configuration option.
Step 2: Then select feature and option and click on general tab.
Step 3: Then mention Y on enable BUSY data exchange platform.
Step 4: Click on configure button to create user id and password to sync data.
