How do I customize columns in BUSY reports
To customize columns in BUSY reports. First we have to open the report for which we want to customize columns. After opening that report
Step 1 : Click on custom column
Step 2 : Add format name
Step 3 : Add new col.
Step 4 : Call the field name which you needed in custom column
Step 5 : Save format
Step 6 : Reload that report and open report with format name you configure.
Audit trail history availability in BUSY?
BUSY maintain history of Addition, modification and deletion of voucher and master To view report of Audit Trail please follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to the Display menu
Step 2: Click on Check list
Step 3: In dropdown, select Audit trail
Step 4: Select the user name from whom you want to view report, and select the ADD, MODIFY or DELETION checkbox
Step 5: Specify date range and click OK button
I'd like to enable the audit trail feature in BUSY. Could you please guide me on how to do this and inform me which version includes this feature?
Audit Trail is Used to check the details of Users who has done for masters and transaction related to addition, modification, deletion.
Pls Follow the below the Steps :
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Then Configuration
Step 3: Then Features and Options
Step 4: Then General
Step 5: Enable the Audit Trial and User Details Option
Step 6: Can check on Audit trail Report under Display Menu
What should I do if i want to change caption of sales quotation to performa invoice?
To change sales quotation caption to performa invoice, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration section then click on configuration
Step 2: Choose features/option then select General tab
Step 3: Specify Y to enable change voucher type captions then click on configuration
Step 4: Next, Specify Y for change caption for sales quotation voucher type and change the full name or short name.
Step 5: After update details, save the configuration.
If I close my company, what happens to exported files? Will they be deleted?
Exported files will not be deleted automatically when you close your company.To enable this feature,follow these transactions
Step 1 Open your company
Step 2 Go to administartion and then configuration
Step 3 Select feature/options and Select GENERAL tab
Step 4 Now enable delete exported files on closing the company either ask before deletion or delete automatically.
Step 5 Now save the general tab window and when close the company,it will delete exported files
Is there any way to know which user created an old voucher entry?
To view old records of addition, modification and deletion, audit trail option have to used in company. If using audit trail, you can check reports from:
Step 1: Go to the Display menu
Step 2: Click on Check list
Step 3: In dropdown, select Audit trail
Step 4: Select the user name from whom you want to view report, and select the ADD checkbox
Step 5: Specify date range and click OK button

To change the default name of voucher types in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration section then click on configuration
Step 2: Choose features/option then select General tab

Where can i maintain Notes in BUSY
In BUSY, you can have Notes Manager option, in which you can write notes for your self. To maintain notes in BUSY, follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to the Administartion menu, Click the configuration tab
Step 2: Select Feature/option, Open General Tab
Step 3: Click on Enable Notes Manager, click OK to save configuration
Step 4: To add notes, Use Utilities Tab in Administration menu
Step 5: Use F3 to add notes
Can I generate a report for changes by a particular user in BUSY?
To check report for changes made by one user by Audit trail option, follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to Display menu,
Step 2: Click on check list option
Step 3: In dropdown option, select Audit Trail, define user name for whom you want to check report
Step 4: Click on add, modify and Delete check box and specify date range
Step 5: Click on OK button, to view report
