No there in no need to export XML data from existing companies to configure the multiple branches , because of after configure branch he sync option was enabled to auto transfer data from other branch to Head office branch.

The pop up message of Saving master and voucher receipt from branch is for sync data from BO to HO. If this pop shows repeatedly then check the timing limit configuration and make sure it is set correctly.

To maintain separate books for 2 verticals in BUSY, you can maintain them at the series level or enable the enterprise feature for head office and branch office. You can also add separate account masters for each vertical.

Yes, You can manually sync data from Bo to Ho. Follow the below steps.
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Click on Data Export Import
Step 3: Click on Exchange Data with HO
Step 4: Click on Required Sync option
Why am I unable to generate branch-wise reports and view transactions state-wise despite entering them separately?
Multiple Reason that you are unable to generate report Branch wise.
1. You are not using enterprise model
2. You are not not enable branch feature
3. You are login company with sub user

If you want to track and manage customer's credit limit and payment terms branch wise, then you need to create seperate customer ledger for each branch and set credit limit and credit period individualy in each ledger.
