What's the process for recording stock transfers between branches?
It is Normal Business Practise to transfer Goods from One Branch to Other because it reduces the burden of OverStocking in their Particular Premises.
To Record Stock Transfer between Branches one have to perform tasks in multiple stages.
A) Configure Series in Both the Branches
B) Add Stock Transfer Voucher in that Series
Here we consider that Series in Branches have already been configured.
B) To Add Stock Transfer in BUSY follow below Steps.
Step 1: Click on Transactions
Step 2: Click on Stock Transfer
Step 3: Click on Add
Step 4: Select the Series in which one wants to add the Transaction, here one should use the Series of Branch from where one wants to Transfer
Step 5: Feed Date
Step 6: Feed Vch No (If Voucher Numbering is Manual else it will come automatic)
Step 7: Select Material Centre of From Branch
Step 8: Select Material Centre of To Branch
Step 9: Feed Other Required Details like Item, Quanity, Amt etc
Step 10 : Click on Save
How do I transfer data from head office to a newly created branch in BUSY?
If you want to transfer data from Head Office to newly created Branch after all the necessary configurations done and set up connection, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Data Export Import.
Step 2: Choose "Bulk Data Updation to BO" and select either Master or Transaction as the data type you want to transfer.
Step 3: If you choose Master, select the specific Master for sync, such as Account, Item, etc. Then click on the branch name that you want to send the data to and press OK.
Step 4: If you choose Transaction, select the branch name from the dropdown list and enter the Start Date and End Date. Then select the voucher type, such as Sales, Purchase, etc. and press OK.
Step 5: In the branch office, you can receive the data under the "Exchange Data with HO" tab in the Data Export Import menu.
How do I handle intercompany transactions in BUSY?
Intercompany transactions are transactions that occur between two or more companies that belong to the same corporate group. BUSY Enterprise edition allows you to handle intercompany transactions by using the Multi Branch feature.
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on Enterprises Features.
Step 3: Set Y on Enable Multi Branch Details and click on Branch Details.
Step 4: Click on Add Branch Master and enter the Branch name and can create Voucher Series Group , User & Material Center.
Step 5: Enter all other the necessary details such as address, GST details, etc and save.
Step 6: Now, if you want to work in other branch then login with respected branch user and can record enteries for transfers from one branch to another.

How do I link a Branch Office (BO) with a Head Office (HO) and set up port forwarding?
To link Branch Office (BO) with a Head Office (HO) and set up port forwarding follow these steps
make sure that you have created branches, series and users in both offices.
1. In branch office go to the configuration under administration menu
2. select feature and options
3. then select enterprise features tab
4. click on HO/BO data sync option and enable it
5. select Branch office
6. then mentioned correct server information from Head office
7. then select company code, branch name /alias and username for login
9. then read head office configuration
10.also check status of existing data
11.check connection
process of port forwarding is given below
1. login with your router mentioned user name and password.
2. find port forwrding option
3. add new port forwarding rules
4. mentioned port no 1433, protocol, IP address and local port
5. then save changes and check port open or close .
How do I create separate accounts for branches in BUSY?
If you want to create seperate accounts for branches, then you can use Master Series Group feature. To configure that can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on Enterprises Features.
Step 3: Set Y on "Enable Master Series Groups" and click on Configuration and tick on Account and save.
Step 4: Now, when you create Account Master there will be a windo apprear for Tag Master Series Group. Press F3 to create a new Group and save that master.
Step 5: Open your Branch Configuration and set Y on Tag Master Series Group and choose that group which you have created and save that configuration.
Step 6: In user also you have to tag that group.
Now, only the accounts that are tagged under that group will be shown in that branch.
What steps can I take to troubleshoot and resolve data synchronization errors between my head office and branches in BUSY?
For troubleshooting syncronization follow below steps for port settings after configurations.
Step1. Check the static ip is connecting to the client machine or not.
for checking it you can type static ip of HO in BO's run command. By typing
e.g. Ping (Static IP) -t . If it connects then data will sync with HO.
Step 2.Check open port status: Here you need to check port status from google chrome.
1433 port should open in your static ip.
Step 3. Ensure that the network connection between the head office and branch office is
stable and reliable, with sufficient bandwidth to handle the data synchronization.
Step 4. Can create inbount and outbound rules in the firewall of HO and BO.
Step 5. Check In HO services of SQL running or not.
Step 6.Check set server informations are correctly mention in HO and BO's configurations.

How do I set up data synchronization between multiple offices in BUSY?

1. First will check whether the HO and BO are on same location or not .
2. Whether port for HO-BO that is 1433 is opened and configured for the same.
3. In BUSY, we have to match the HO and BO configuration should always match.
4. To match Ho-Bo configuration in BUSY, Click on Administration>Configuration>Features/Options>Enterprises option
5. In branch we have option to read Ho configuration from there we can match the configuration
6. SQl server information mentioned in that option only should also match.
7. Click on check connection option for the same to check whether SQl SERVER mentioned is correct or not.
8. At last we can check the internet if there any issue in internet from any of the end i.e is HO or BO
I am trying to record and track branch-level data in BUSY but the software does not seem to have this feature. Is there a workaround?
If you're trying to record and track branch-level data in BUSY and it doesn't seem to have this feature, consider the following:
Check your license: Multi-branch is available in the Enterprise edition. If you have a lower-level license, consider upgrading by contacting your BUSY dealer or sales team.
If you are using Enterprise edition then make sure multi-branch option is enable if option is not able then follow below steps :
Enable multi-branch:
Step 1:Go to administration.
Step 2:Select configuration.
Step 3:Choose Features/Options.
Step 4:Select Enterprise Features.
Step 5:Search for Enable multi-branch details and set it to 'Y' (Yes).
Step 6:The multi-branch option will open. Configure your branches with different states.
Now, you can manage transactions for multiple branches and check individual branch-level reports after configuring multi-branch.
Setting up static IP for head office server and troubleshooting connectivity?
To the proper synchronization data in HO and BO, you should check the Stable internet, ports and firewal setting in the system
Please follow the given steps
Step 1 First check internet must be proper and stable in HO and BO
Step 2 Then check port number 1433 must be open on static ip in HO, you can use the website name "Can you see me"
Step 3 Go on control panel then window firewall setting
Step 4 Click on advanced setting and create inbound and outbound rule for the port number 1433
Step 5 Create above Inbound and outboud rule in firewall in HO and BO both location
Step 6 After that open BUSY at BO
Step 7 Click on set server information
Step 8 Mention there server static ip, user and password of server sql
