How can I fix the issue of data not appearing on the screen while opening BUSY?
Please follow the steps below to fix the issue of data not appearing on the screen while opening BUSY:
Step 1: If the company is not showing in the list, first open the company folder and check if any Microsoft locking information file has been generated. If a Microsoft file has been locked, the information that allows showing the company in the list will not be available.
Step 2: Restart the system and check again. If the issue persists, open the company COMP folder and only copy the DB. bds file with db. bds files with years. Update these files into a new folder and keep the name as Alpha number starting with COMP then numeric. Keep the folder in the same place where other companies are being kept.
Step 3: If the new folder of the company is still not showing up, it means the DB file has been corrupted. To remove the corruption, you have to replace the.DB file from its old backup.
Step 4: To replace the db. bds file from the old backup, double-click on the backup data, then copy DB.BDS file from it and paste it into the new folder, then check.
Step 5: If the issue remains the same, it means the data has been corrupted, and you have to share the data with us at support@busy.in. You will get a reply within 48 hours.
Note: First, ensure that the data directory is correctly mentioned in the set data directory option.
