The stock value in BUSY might be displayed incorrectly due to various reasons
1.If you have posted incorrect stock entries.
2.Stock value will display as per selected stock valuation method in data base. you can follow these steps to check the valuation method.
Step 1: Go to administration section then click on configuration tab.
Step 2: Choose features and option then select inventory tab.
Step 3: Now, check the stock valuation method and can change if required.

Inventory managed in BUSY through various method including FIFO method 
For enable inventory method follow these steps:
1. Go in administration then configuration 
2. Then Go in Features/options then inventory
3. In stock valuation method you can choose method for whole item or 
4. you can choose separate stock valuation method for each item 
5. Mention method in item master 
6. For check stock report Go in Display then stock status and check report

To find out the stock of an item available in which Godown, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to the display menu and click on the Stock Status tab.
Step 2: Click on Closing Stock Alphabetical and select the Material Centre in which you want to check the item's stock.
Step 3: Select one item or all items and set the report date, then click OK.
In this report, you can get the desired data.

There are some possible reasons why the stock report at the head office shows zero balances while the branch offices show values. These are:
1. The data from the branch offices to the head office is not synced properly.
2. The material centres in both the head office and the branch offices are not tagged correctly.
3. The report is checked from the wrong material centre.
There might be more reasons according to the situation.

To correct inaccurate inventory stock in BUSY, you can follow given below steps:
 1. Verify your transactions 
 2. Check for any errors or duplicate entries in your inventory transactions.
 3. Ensure that all stock adjustments, stock transfers, and returns are properly generated in your data
 4. Reconcile your stock report
 5. Run update master balance and then check
 6. Make sure you are using latest version of BUSY software

To check the opening stock report with main unit in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to display section then click on stock status.
Step 2: Choose Opening stock alphabetical option then select balance only or detailed as per need.
Step 3: Choose all material center then all item master.
Step 4: Specify the date range , enable show value of items, select main unit for report to be shown and open the report.

To check stock status, we have to go to :
Step 1 : Click on display
Step 2 : Stock Status
Step 3 : Open and check the closing or opening stock report as per requirement
To check stock valuation method in BUSY, we have to go to :
Step 1 : Click on Administration
Step 2 : Configuration
Step 3 : Features/ options
Step 4 : Inventory
Step 5 : Stock valuation method, check the stock valuation method selected.

To check an item's stock in packaging stock, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to display menu.
Step 2: Select stock status then click on closing stock alphabetical and choose balances only option.
Step 3: Select one item then specify the item name, report date and set Y on show packaging unit.
Step 4: Press ok to open the report and see the closing stock in packaging unit.

Yes, there is an option to check stock or sale item-wise in BUSY. You need to follow these steps :
Step 1: To check stock report go to display then stock status closing stock alphabetical and check report
Step 2: To check sale report item wise go to dispaly and select the Sales Analysis item wise to review sales analysis and generate reports for party groups or individual parties and check report
