The BUSY Agents application allows you to take backup automatically on local and Google drive. To install & configure it you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Download the BUSY Agent Setup from the BUSY website www.busy.in Go to the Resources and Download section to find the setup file.
Step 2: Install the setup in the same drive where BUSY Software is installed.
Step 3: After the installation is complete, configure your data directory from where your data is running under the General Configuration tab.
Step 4: Click on Backup Configuration ( Local Drive ) and specify the backup path and schedule the backup timming.
Step 5: Click on Backup Configuration (Google Drive) and enter your Gmail ID and authorize it.
Step 6: Schedule your backup as per your requirements and save the configuration. Click on Add to Startup to enable automatic backup on your Google Drive.
Now, your data will be backed up on Google Drive at the scheduled time.

I want to back up my BUSY data. What is the recommended way to take a backup of BUSY data?

Below steps can be followed as the best practice for data backup :
Step 1 : You can use our BUSYAgent utility for taking daily backup date wise so go to our site www.busy.in
Step 2 : Download BUSYAgent Ulitility and install the same in the drive where you have installed BUSY.
Step 3 : Open BUSYAgent and go to General Configuration
Step 4 : Specify data location as per access or SQL
Step 5 : Go to Backup Configuration for Local and specify the folder path of your local drive and mention the interval for backup schedule
Step 6 : Now go to Backup Configuration for google drive and specify your gmail ID, here you will find the option to Authorize the ID so click on that tab also. Make sure that your Gmail ID must be open during authorization process.
Step 7 : Configure the interval for backup schedule
Step 8 : Save the settings and check the backup through Backup now Tab.

Through BUSY Agent, we can take the automatic backup on Google Drive.
Pls Follow the Below Steps for Google Drive Backup :
Step 1: Open the BUSY Software
Step 2: Click on Company Menu
Step 3: Download the BUSYAgent
Step 4: Install it in which BUSY is already installed
Step 5: Click on BUSYAgent icon
Step 6: Click on General Configuration
Step 7: Select Database Type - Access or MS SQL, For Access, Mention the Data Directory Path and For MS SQL, Mention the SQL Server Information.
Step 8: For Backup Notification, Specify as per your requirement. Can get through Email or BUSYBNS.
Step 9: Click on Backup configuration of Google Drive
Step 10: Specify the Email Id for authentication.
Step 7: Click on Backup Schedule- Here select the days, financial year and backup time in a day as per your requirement.

Note : Backup on BUSY Agent is only with Active BLS.
