I'm facing issues accessing my emails within BUSY. It keeps showing "invalid credentials." What's the solution?
If your Email account password is not working or showing incorrect in BUSY email configuration then please
follow the steps to resove this.
Step 1.Open Google Chrome and log in to your Gmail account.
Step 2. Click on your Gmail account logo or profile picture in the top right corner.
Step 3. Select Manage Google Account from the dropdown menu.
Step 4. In the search bar within your Google Account settings, type App password.
Step 5. Define the app name as BUSY or any other name you prefer.
Step 6. Google will generate an app password. Copy this password from your screen.
Step 7. Now, open your BUSY email configuration settings and paste the app password into the password section.
How can I enable the auto-email feature for invoices in BUSY if they're not being emailed automatically?
We can enable the email feature for sending the invoice through email directly from BUSY. We have to mention the Email Id details in BUSY.
Pls Follow the Below Steps :
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Then Configurations
Step 3: Then Email Configuration
Step 4: Select Send Directly option.
Step 5: Select Attachment as per your requirement
Step 6: Mention the Server Configuration : Smtp Server Name for your email like Gmail, yahoo,rediffmail etc. then Username & Password for the id.
Step 7: Mention the Sender Details : From option - Your Name & Reply To - Your Email ID.
Note : Generate the Email ID password for BUSY from Security Setting of Gmail and Yahoo ID.
I want to send emails from BUSY using my Gmail ID. What configuration steps are needed?
To send emails from BUSY using your Gmail ID, you need to configure the email settings in BUSY. Here are the steps:
1. Go to Administration Configuration Email Configuration option in BUSY.
2. Select the "Send Directly" option for email sending.
3. Choose the format in which you want to send the report (PDF attachment, email body text, XML attachment, or PDF plus XML attachment).
4. Enter the SMTP server as "smtp.gmail.com".
5. Provide your Gmail ID and password.
6. If you have enabled two-factor authentication on your Gmail account, generate an app password for BUSY.
7. Save the configuration.
Once the configuration is done, you will be able to send emails directly from BUSY using your Gmail ID.

1.Go to transactions and select the voucher for which e-invoice is generated
2.Open the voucher and then select EMAIL on the top of voucher or you can use shortcut ALT plus M and select send email then proceed by selecting format of invoice
3.After selecting send email,your invoice will be automatically attached but for e-invoice,you must save e-invoice downloaded from portal through BUSY and select the same in external attachment by selecting from local drive
4.Enter the recveiver's email id or if mentioned in party master,it will pick automatically
5.Click on send
6.Now email will be sent including invoice as well as e-invocie attachment which was saved in your local drive
I want to update my email account credentials but i am concerned about causing issues. What are the best practices to follow?
If want to update email account credential in BUSY then following step you should follow
Step1: Click on administration option
Step2: Then click on configuration option
Step3: Then Select Email Configuration
Step4: Change SMTP server , Username and Port as per new Email
Step5: Generate app password for the same from the Gmail or whatever mail you are
using. then enter that password in password field in Email configuration.
Step6: Then Click on Test account setting to check . Now it must show sent successfully.
