Step 1: Go to the Administration menu.
Step 2: Inside Administration, find and select Configuration.
Step 3: In the Configuration menu, look for Features & Options and choose it.
Step 4: Within Features & Options, locate GST VAT settings.
Step 5: Look for the option that says Restrict sub users to 'Modify, Delete Voucher whose E invoice has generated.
Step 6: Set this option to Y (yes).
By doing this, you're configuring the software to restrict sub users from modifying invoices with E way bill heads after they've been generated. This helps maintain the integrity of your invoices and ensures that specific details remain unaltered.

I want to cancel an E-Invoice I generated but am unsure of the process. Could you guide me on how to cancel an issued E-Invoice?

To cancel an e invoice that you generated but are unsure of the process, you need to follow the below steps:
Step 1: go to the transaction menu, click on sales, and then list
Step 2: select the date range and OK.
Step 3: Select the voucher that you want to cancel in Modify Mode.
Step 4: On the top right of the voucher module, you will see a cancel option.
Step 5: Click on it and fill in the reason for the cancellation.
After filling out the cancellation reason, you will find a window to cancel an e invoice from the portal. After finding this option, you will find: Do you want to cancel from the portal? Also, specify yes.
It will cancel the voucher from BUSY and portal both.

I already had my invoice designed and printed. How can I now add a QR code to the invoice?

To add a QR code to the degign format you need to follow the steps 
Step1 go to administration menu and click on configuration
Step2 Click on Invoice Document printing
Step3 Click on advance
Step4 Click on sale Invoice and then click on add and put a design name as QR
Step5 open the QR design's Header option and Put the QR details
Step6 go to the QR design page setting and make line 1
Step7 then go to your existing design format header or footer part where you want to add QR code and click on print style and select QR Code
Step8 Remove the format name in QR field and add QR in the place of it and adjust the QR code length

I need both the government or E-invoice and business or Sales invoice with INR number, Ack NO. and Ack Date. How can I generate both through the portal?

You can generate only the government or E invoice from the portal, you need to follow below steps:
Step 1: Visit the E Invoice Portal, Go to the e invoice portal's website, which is typically provided by your country's tax authority. In your case, the website is https: einvoice1.gst.gov.in .
Step 2: Log in, Click on the Login option on the portal's homepage. Log in to the e invoice portal using your registered credentials.
Step 3: Generate an e invoice in bulk. After logging in, look for the option to generate an e invoice in bulk. Click on this option.
Step 4: Upload a JSON file. In the bulk e invoice generation section, you will typically find an option to upload a JSON file.

Step1: If it's the suppliers' details, check your company address in the Company Menu.
Step2: In the GST VAT option, update the Station name and pin code.
Step3: Verify the Material Center address for any discrepancies.
Step4: If it's the customers' details, go to the Customer's Master.
Step5: Enter the correct address and station name.
Step6: If billing or shipping details need updates, make sure to modify them in the customer's master as well.

I am working with an unregistered/exempt business partner. How do I create an E-invoice bill for them without generating an e-waybill?

Step 1: To create an e invoice bill for an unregistered or exempt business partner without generating an e way bill, check the below steps:
Step 2: First, you need to check that it is not a B2C transaction. It means not with an unregistered party and not with a cash party.
Step 3: Because we can generate e invoices only for registered parties, i.e., B2B only.
Step 4: If it is an unregistered or exempt business partner, you can generate an E way bill for the same but not an E invoice.

What is the process to generate e-way bill for SEZ units in BUSY?

To generate an e way bill for SEZ units in BUSY, For this, you need to enable the setting for sales type in that you have to select SEZ sales type, which defaults to BUSY; if not, you have to create SEZ unit sales type. For this, you need to follow the below steps:
Go to the Administration menu.
Select Masters and then Sale Type.
Click on Add to create a new sales type.
Give a name to the sales type.
Choose the region as Central.
Select the SEZ unit as the sales type.
After the above setting, you need to follow the regular e way bill generation process.
By using the above option, you can generate an e way bill.

Step 1: Open BUSY and log in with your user name and password.

Step 3: Then select the voucher in which you find your series. Select that particular series, then click on the Configuration option. After that, you will find the voucher configuration window. There, you will find the option to print a sales invoice. After saving that option, you need to

I am getting an error while exporting and printing E invoices from BUSY.How can I fix this?

If you are getting the error while printing and exporting the E-invoice then you require to follow the steps :
1. Check the internet connectivity as it should be stable.
2. Make sure that you have installed a PDF Reader such as Adobe reader.
3. No more instances of BUSY should be installed instead of the latest version.
4. Printer should be installed properly and no error should be there while printing any invoice.
5. .NET Framework should be updated and for the same you can refer to below steps :
Step 1: Write Turn windows features on or off in start command

Step1 make sure you have BUSY Standard Model
