Find Solutions to Common Issues Related to troubleshoot - demo mode
The BUSY shows in demo mode when the license security not get found in Single User and Multi User License
Pls Follow the Below Steps for Demo Mode in Single User License :
Step 1: Connect the Dongle and Open the BUSY Software or For Softlock, License file should be in BUSYwin Folder where it is already installed.
Step 2: Check the Database Type and Model from Select BUSY Model Option under Company Menu.
Pls Follow the Below Steps for Demo Mode in Multi User License :
Step 1: On Server System, Either the Connect Dongle or Softlock License file should be in BUSYwin Folder where it is already installed.
Step 2: On Client System, There should be proper sharing between Server or Client System. Mention the Data path through server system. First Open the Server System then Client System.
Find out the steps to connect your client system after installation
Steps 1 : If you are using acess database license
Steps 2 : Then connect both system with lan connectivity and share your data folder with your client system
Steps 3 : Set the data directory of your main server system in your client system and then restart BUSY
Steps 4 : and If you are using Sql database license on same location
Steps 5 : Then mention server name and password in set server information option
Steps 6 : Then restart BUSY
Steps 7 : And if you are using sql database license on different location
Steps 8 : Then purchase static Ip and open 1433 port in it
Steps 9 : And then mention that server name and server password in set server information option
When BUSY is going on demo mode then make sure that you alreadyhave a BUSY license.
Pls Follow the Below Steps for Demo Mode in Single User License :

If you want to run BUSY on two computers and sync data on WIFI / LAN, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Make sure that you have a multi-user license for BUSY.
Step 2: Connect both computers to the same network using LAN or WIFI.
Step 3: On the server computer, share your data folder on the network. You can find your data folder in the Set Data Directory option under the Company menu.
Step 4: On the client computer, open BUSY and go to the Set Data Directory option. Here, you have to set the data path to the shared folder on the network. You can browse and select the shared folder from the network locations.
Step 5: Reopen BUSY on both computers and can use BUSY on both computers with real-time data synchronization.
In case of SQL database security is found from the dongle server/BUSY agent. Therefore, it is mandatory to open BUSY agent at the backend and then open Client system
If Client system is running in demo mode (SQL database) follow the below steps:
Step 1: Verify Serial Number from UMS.
Step 2: Select the Same Model in both the systems.
Step 3:Check the LAN IP should ping.
Step4 : Enable name pipe, TCP/IP from SQL configure manager and mention TCP port as 1433 (default SQL port) in IP4 and IP all
Step5) : Restart the services.
Step6) Mention server name/LAN Ip, username as SA and password in client system.
Step7) After following the above-mentioned steps, the same issue persists, then create the Inbound outbound rule of SQL.
NOTE : All steps should be done after taking backup of the data
To resolve the issue of demo mode on Client pc, check the possible reason:
Step 1: BUSY must be open on server system to run client on license mode.
Step 2: Check by reopen the server first then open the client system.
Step 3: Specify the correct path through networking in client system in case of access data base and specify correct set server information in sql data base.
Step 4: If the client system running on same premises then ensure that LAN ip must be ping on client system.
Step 5: If you are running client system n different location then check that Static ip must be ping on client system and the SQL port must be open on server system.
Step 6: In case of SQL database, dongle server must be running on server system.
If you want to use BUSY on mulitple systems and sync data, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Make sure that you have a multi-user license for BUSY.
Step 2: Connect both computers to the same network using LAN or WIFI.
Step 3: On the server computer, share your data folder on the network. You can find your data folder in the Set Data Directory option under the Company menu.
Step 4: On the client computer, open BUSY and go to the Set Data Directory option.
Step 5: Here, you have to set the data path to the shared folder on the network. You can browse and select the shared folder from the network locations.
Step 6: Reopen BUSY on both computers and can use BUSY on mulitple computers with real-time data synchronization.

Step 1: First have to check that we are able to access the server system from client or not
Step 2: If not then we have to asked IT persont to make it accesible in other system
Step 3: If accessible then we have to make same data directory in the BUSY of client
system as it is set in the server system
Step 4: Make sure BUSY is running in the server system.
