I want to check my account statement for a particular date. How can I generate a statement for a single day?

To check Statement of A/C in BUSY, you can follow these steps: 
Step 1: Open your company then, go to the Print / Email / SMS and click on Outstanding Analysis.
Step 2: Here you will find an option of Statement of A/C and select Standard / T- Format as required.
Step 3: Now you can select One Account, Group of Accounts and Selected Accounts to generate.
Step 4: Enter the date range and can see the report.

What could be the reasons for not being able to add custom columns in ledger books or any report?

If you are unable to add custom columns in ledger books or any report follow the below steps: 

Step 1: In this case , Login company with admin login credentials of the company.
Step 2: Go to Administration > User > Modify >Select user
Step 3: After open user master in modify mode , enable Allow customization of report.
Note - Second possible reason for above scenario can be BUSY Model as custom column feature is not available in BUSY Basic model.

How can I filter BUSY to show only current year data and not pre-purchase data from previous years?

In BUSY, The data has been shows as per the current financial year in any purchase from Display menu.
You can see the purchase report from below steps.
Step 1: Click on Display
Step 2: Then Account Books
Step 3: Then Account Register
Step 4: Then Purchase Register
Step 5: Then vertical or horizontal as per your need and select the group of account as purchase and view the report.
Additionally, you can view the multiple purchase report from the Display menu.

I made some mid-year changes to my accounts. Now there is a mismatch. What should I do?

If you made some mid-year changes in accounts and now its showing mismatch you need to ensure given follow points to get this issue resolved:
1. Ensure that you have did all the changes is accurate
2. Make sure you have tag correct group in your accounts
3. Make sure all the transactions where this account is used should be properly configured
4. Ensure that you are using latest version of BUSY software
5. Before making any changes always try to take a backup of your data

Why am I unable to see reports like sales reports, payment reports etc. in the software?

If you wants to see reports like sales reports, payment reports etc.in the BUSY you can follow these steps:
Step 1:Go to Display menu,
Step 2:Select Accounts Books,
Step 3:Select Accounts Register,here you can see all reports as sale register,payment regsiter and other report.
Step 4:click the report which you wants to open,Click on All Sale Type and select All Party or One Party as you want, Choose a date range and open the report,the report will displayed now you can check.

How can I see the full details for my stock purchase history in BUSY

If you want to see purchase history of your items in BUSY, you can see purchase analysis by using these steps:
Step 1: Go to Display and click on Purchase Analysis.
Step 2: Select "Item-wiseand choose Standard-Date/Voucher - wise / Standard-Monthly / Standard-Quaterly, etc as per the requirements.
Step 3: You can filter the report by All Items, Group of Items, One Item or Selected Items.
Step 4: Now, enter the date range and open ther report. This report will show you purchases of your items.

How can I ensure that my accounts ledger are updated accurately after cancelling voucher?

To ensure that account ledger are updated accurately after cancelling the voucher, you can check the ledger report and anaysis the closing balance by follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Display then click on account books
Step 2: Choose the account ledger then select account-wise option
Step 3: Select the standard format then select party and open the ledger report.
Step 4: Now, Check the updated closing balance. Further, then canceled bill will not appear in ledger report of party due to zero balance voucher.

The laser/report I need is not showing in BUSY what should I do?

Their could be several reason for not showing ledger report to solve the issue follow the steps 
1 ensure that your user ID have the access to see the report if not then open company with
admin ID and change the user restriction by user modify option
2 to check the ledger report you can press alter plus L or go to display menu click on
account books then click on account ledger then click on one account and select the account

How can I add a custom column to a report in BUSY

For adding a custom column to a report in BUSY, follow these steps:
Open the report you want to customize.
After generating the report, click on the Custom Column tab.
Add a format name, then you can add columns and rows as needed.
After adding the fields, click on Save the Format.
Exit the report, re-enter the same report path, and you'll see the new customized format.
Simply select the format and generate the report.
Note: The custom column option is not available in the BLUE and basic models.

Why am I unable to see my recent transactions in BUSY?

If you are unable to see your recent transactions in BUSY, it could be due to a few reasons. One possibility is that there may be a filter applied that is hiding the transactions. You can check the filters and adjust them accordingly to display the desired transactions. Another possibility is that there may be a technical issue or a glitch in the software.
