How do I open the ledger for an account group by pressing shortcut key?
In BUSY there is no default shorcut key for open the ledger for an account group. Further you open the same by using these steps:
Step 1: Go to Display menu and click on Account Books then Account Ledger.
Step 2: Select Account-wise and click on Group of Accounts.
Step 3: Choose the account group from the dropdown list and enter the date range to open the report.
Step 4: You can also create shortcut key as per your need.
How can I get detailed sales analysis category wise, product wise, geography wise etc?
To check sale analysis with different category wise you can follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to display then select sales analysis
Step 2: Select the desired option shown below sales analysis such as party wise ,item wise, group wise etc.
Step 3: Then select date range and mention yes in party address to see geographical deatils in report
By following these step you can check sale reort different category wise
Why am I not able to view account opening balances in account ledger?
If you are unable to view opening balance in account ledger then follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to display menu and submenu account books
Step 2: Then choose account ledger option then account wise option
Step 3: After that select standard option and then one account
Step 3: Then select account name and specify data range and make sure to disable skip opening balance as N, then enable or disable other options as per requirement then press ok
How can I add custom columns for state and TIN in reports
.Pls Follow the Below Steps for Custom Column in Reports:
Step 1: Click on Custom Column Option
Step 2: Mention the Format Name
Step 3: Click on Add New Column or Add New Row
For New Column :
Step 1: Mention the Heading, Position ,Data type Field and Alignment as per your need.
Step 2: Select the Field Value - Data Field
Step 3: Select the Category - Account Master or Inventory Header
Step 4: Select the State and TIN field one by one.
How to view party names and other master details in BUSY reports?
To view party name and other masters in BUSY , you can follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to administration then masters and select account
Step 2: Then select list and all marters then open report
Step 3: You can check all accounts created in the list and their group
You can follow the same above steps to see any other master list by select master typ then list .
How can I fix the incomplete voucher issue with blank sales vouchers?
To fix the incomplete voucher issue with blank sales vouchers then you either you can open the voucher and add the required details or you can delete the vouchers from the alt+f8 shortcut key.
Pls follow the below steps to check the incomplete voucher report.
Step 1: Take the backup of your company
Step 1: Click on Housekeeping
Step 2: Then Check Incomplete vouchers
Step 3: Then Press ALT+F8 to delete all the vouchers or you can open and modify it.
How can I view the monthly summary for a specific month?
To view the monthly summary for a specific month either of account and inventory in BUSY, then you need to follow the below steps.
Step 1: Click on Display and sub menu Account Summary or Inventory Summary
Step 2: Then Monthly summary and choose the option to view as per your requiredment for single Account or Group, single Item or Group. After that mention the specific month and can also compare it from last three years if required.
Why are the check numbers not populating in the ledger reports
The absence of check numbers in ledger reports may stem from a misconfiguration within the BUSY Software. How do I add a custom column in BUSY sales register
Under Display Menu, Open the Sales Register from Account Books or in Inventory Books as per your requirement.
Pls Follow the Below Steps for Custom Column:
Step 1: Click on Custom Column Option
Step 2: Mention the Format Name
Step 3: Click on Add new column
Step 4: Mention the Heading, Position ,Data Field and Alignment as per your need.
Step 5: Select the Field Value - Data field , Formula Based and SQL Query
Step 6: Select it Category and required field.
