How can I add optional field in reports?
To add an optional field in report, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open specific report as per requirement.
Step 2: Click on Custom Columns which appear on top of the screen.
Step 3: Now add Format Name and click on add new column or row as per required.
Step 4: Mention Heading name, position and data type and then select inventory vouchers(Header) in category option.
Step 5: Now click on field tab and choose optional field from voucher Header section.
How to export sales register report from BUSY?
If you want to export sales register report from BUSY please follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to display menu
Step 2: Then click on account books
Step 3: Then click on account registers
Step 4: Then click on sales register
Step 5: Then select sale type and party as all,one or group as required and open the report
Step 6: Then click on export button and then select the data format as required and click on ok to export
I am unable to see the current year's sales figures in the software reports. It is showing last year's sales data. Why is this happening and how can I resolve it?
If the last year sales is showing instead of the current financial year, then might you have open the last financial year you have to change it from the below steps.
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Then change financial year
Step 3: Then select the current year and change it without carry forward the balances.
If you have spiltted your company then make sure that you have open the correct financial year company.
I am unable to find a specific invoice in BUSY as the invoice numbers are different than uploaded GST return. How can I search invoices by GSTIN or bill number?
To search an invoice by bill number in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Transaction menu and select the voucher type such as Sales, Purchase, etc.
Step 2: Click on Modify then enter the Bill number and can open the invoice.
Step 3: You can also open the Sales / Purchase Register with GSTIN option Y.
Step 4: Press F3 to search an invoice by bill number and GST number.
I am unable to view or access older vouchers and entries from previous financial years in BUSY. How can I see older data?
You can search the last year voucher in the current financial year by opening the account ledger by using the shortcut key CLT+L or from below steps.
Step 1: Click on Display
Step 2: Then Account Books
Step 3: Then Account Ledger
Step 4: Then Account wise
Step 5: Then open the ledger by selecting the last year date range.
Also can check the past voucher by changing the last financial year from administration.
I want to get a consolidated statement of all payments pending from different parties. How can I generate this in BUSY?
To check consolidate statement of pending payment from different party then follow the below steps :
Step 1: Go to Display menu
Step 2: Click on Accounts books option
Step 3: Then click on Account register (standard) option
Step 4: Then click on Payment register option
Step 5: Then Specify date range and click on OK button
Step 6: here you are check list of payment from different party
I need help for checking my account ledgers and electricity account data in BUSY. What are the keyboard shortcuts?
For check accounting ledgers in BUSY you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go in Display.
Step 2: Then select Account Books.
Step 3: Then select Account Ledger.
Step 4: Then select Account wise Standard or T Format in which you want to see.
Step 5: Then select option All account, One account, Selected account and Group of account.
Step 6: Then open it & check accordingly.
Step 7: Also you can press ALT + L for see account ledger via shortcut.
I want to check details of registered and unregistered parties in my software. How can I do this?

Step 1: Go to Administration Click on Account then Click on List
Step 2: Select Option Screen Click on Stander and Select group as Sundry Debtors
Step 3: after Select group Enable option Show GST Details
Step 4: Click on ok for Generate Report
Step 5: Click on Summary and Summarised on type of Dealer filed

The sales register totals don't match the individual voucher totals. What is wrong?
If the sales register total does not match with the individual voucher total, then check the below steps.
Step 1: Make sure you have enter the voucher with the correct amount with tax rate.
Step 2: After the data backup, run the update master balance from housekeeping menu.
Step 3: If still issue presists, then voucher list and sales register in the short range then you will get date from which the mismatch is coming then correct it.
