I need help understanding the charts and graphs in BUSY. What do they mean?

Go to Display, then select Sales Analysis, then select Item-wise, then select Standard-Monthly, then select all items and relevant information, and press OK and F2 to load the details. After loading the details, you will find the graphic details of the report for the sales analysis report to understand.

Where in BUSY can I update contact numbers so they show properly in reports

You can update the contact numbers of your customers or vendors in their master records. This will reflect in the reports that have an option to show contact numbers. If the report does not have this option, you can add a custom column for contact numbers in the report.

I updated to the latest version of the accounting software, and now some of my old data is not appearing correctly in reports. How can I fix issues caused by the version update?

If some of your data is not appearing in the reports after upgrading the BUSY. It means that the upgradation has not beed done properly.After data backup, Run the data in the old release then apply data patch from houskeeping then upgrade it again in the latest version.

When opening reports in BUSY, I see an option for "Standard" and "New". What is the difference between these two options and when should I select "New"?

Difference between New and Standard format are followings
1. Standard are default format of BUSY while New is created by the user.
2. Standard format have default columns while New format have all columns which
customer want to see since it is created by the user.

I am getting incorrect balances showing up in reports after updating to the latest release. What could be the reason and how can I fix this?

If you are getting incorrect balances showing up in reports then please follow the 
given steps
Step 1: Go to housekeeping menu then update master balance.
Step 2: Check in short range and find out the voucher which is wrong
then correct and resave the voucher.

I entered a sample GSTIN number but it is not showing up in the purchase reports. What might be the reason for this?

If the purchase register from the accounts books not showing the GST number even entered in the party master, then might the option is disable of Show Party TIN / GSTIN. Further if you added any custom column then you need to check the report from standard format.

I am unable to copy and paste rows in the report. How can I duplicate rows in BUSY?

In BUSY, you can copy a row in a report, but there is no option to paste details directly into reports. This is because reports in BUSY act as comprehensive summaries of entries made through vouchers. Additionally, BUSY doesn't offer a feature to duplicate rows within a report.

Why is the total amount shown in the Short Range reports different from my account register?

The total amount shown in the Short Range reports may be different from the account register due to discrepancies in the data entries or calculations. It is important to check the vouchers and entries made within the specified date range to identify the specific reason for the difference.

What should I do if I cannot see certain transactions in my reports in BUSY?

If you cannot see certain transactions in your reports in BUSY 
Step 1: Check entry date and report date range
Step 2: check in which voucher series voucher has been entered and open report accordingly
Step 3: check accounting effect of that voucher if possible

I customized the columns but the changes are not reflecting. What should I do?

If Custom columns Not reflecting in a report, follow these steps:
Step 1: In the data field option, check the category.
Step 2: Then check the column you added in the report.
Step 3: Save the field and format.
Step 4: Now reopen the report with the format name that you created.
