to deactivate a master group so that it is not shown in sales orders follow these steps
1. go to the utilities under administration menu
2. click on De-activate masters 
3. then select master type as item group 
4. select master group name and save it .

If the number of companies in the list is less than 10, the financial year option will be pre-selected when opening the list of companies. however, if there are more than 10 companies in the list, this option will be automatically removed in the software.

If you get no company found when open company, you can check the following options:
Step 1: Go to set data directory then in mentioned data path if company folders are present 
Step 2: If data path mention is wrong change path and mention correct path.

To set the data directory path in BUSY to access different company data, go to the "Set Data Directory" option and enter the path of the directory where the data is located. This will allow you to access the data of different companies in BUSY.

To Edit company details like an accountant and CA details in BUSY below are the steps to follow:-
Step 1: Open the company then go to Edit company option under the company menu.
Step 2: Edit the Accountant or CA details from there and save the changes.

If you are prompted to select a model in BUSY Accounting software, you can access the data by selecting the appropriate model and checking the data path in the set data directory. Afterwards, you can log in to the company with your username and password.

To enter a pin code of the company in the software, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the company in BUSY Accounting Software.
Step 2: Click on Company Menu and then select Edit Company. 
Step 3: Enter the pin code of the company then save the changes.

To confirm that your software is running in latest release follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to company menu then select check BUSY updates option.
Step 2: If BUSY is updated it would be mentioned their that latest BUSY release is already installed and download not required.

To add the GST number of a company in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration menu then select configuration option.
Step 2: Click on Feature and Options and choose GST or VAT tab.
Step 3: Enter company GSTIN then save the changes.

the steps should take if the software suddenly stops working is 
1. restart your system and then open software 
2. take backup of data and then run re-index utility to refresh data.
3. if software stops continuesly on multiple time then re-installed software in fresh folder.
