To update buyer details in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration menu then click on Masters.
Step 2: Select Account and then click on Modify.
Step 3: Choose your buyer name of which details you want to update.
Step 4: After opening it update the necessary details and save changes.
Note: Take backup of your data before making any changes.

I am getting an error in BUSY when generating purchase orders. It says "Invalid supplier code." What could be wrong?

To resolve this error, consider the following steps:
Step 1: Double-check the supplier code you've entered or Supplier name .
Step 2: you may need to create a new supplier master with the correct code in Alias code
Step 3: Make sure that the supplier's account is active
Step 4: Check your user permissions to add supplier .

I am trying to add a new line item but it is not working. What am I doing wrong?

If you are unable to add new item in BUSY then please ensure that you have proper rights to do so. Further, you can follow these steps to add new items:
Step 1: Go to Administration then click on Masters.
Step 2: Select Item and click on Add.

I have two branches/companies in BUSY (WAP and WAP). How do I maintain separate opening balances for each branch?

Step 2 : Pass a Journal Entry in the Last Year
Dr. Opening Balance - Branch A
Dr. Opening Balance - Branch B
Cr. Combined Opening Balance
Step 3: Carry forward the balances to current year
Step 4: Verify Opening Balances in the Current Year

Is it necessary to manually write the name of the item in the sale section of BUSY Accounting Software?

No, you can create your item list in BUSY to pick item while Invoicing follow the below steps to do the same:
Step 1: Go to Administration menu and select masters tab
Step 2: Add Item name here with item group, unit , salesand Purchase price and save it.
Step 3: Now you can pick your items at the time of creating Invoice.

Is it possible to add a mobile number for a party in the party master in BUSY?

Yes, you can mention mobile number of a party into their master by using these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu then select masters option.
Step 2: Select account option then click on modify and select the export party.
Step 3: After opening it you can specify the mobile number in the Mobile Number field on the left side bottom then save.

Yes, you can modify an item without changing units and parameter settings in BUSY. To do the same follow the below steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to administration menu.
Step 2: Select masters and click on item then modify.
Step 3: Choose your item which you want to modify and after opening it make the necessary changes then save again.

If you want to add items in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select the company you want to work with. Then, go to the Administration tab and click on Masters.
Step 2: Select Item option and click on Add.
Step 3: Fill all the necessary details such as name, group, unit, tax rate, hsn etc and save.

I am having trouble understanding why the discount is being added instead of subtracted. Can you help?

The discount is being added instead of subtracted because it is being added , follow the steps below to check discount bill sundry :
Step 1: Go to administration
Step 2: select masters then click on bill sundry
Step 3: Select modify then mention discount bill sundry name and open
Step 4: Now change bill sundry type to subtractive and save
