Usually, the Alt+P command works for taking printouts of sales invoices and other vouchers in BUSY. If you're unable to use this shortcut, there could be various reasons for it. Here what you can do:
Step 1: Check Configuration: Verify the configuration settings in the BUSY to ensure that the Alt+P shortcut is still assigned to the print function.
Step 2: Conflicting Shortcuts: Look for any conflicting keyboard shortcuts that might be affecting Alt+P. Resolve conflicts if found.
Step 3: Software Updates: If BUSY has recently been updated, the shortcut functionality could have changed. Review the software updates to see if this is the case.
Step 4: Windows Function Key: You can also try using the function key (Fn) on your keyboard in combination with Alt+P to see if that works.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue and use the Alt+P shortcut for printing in BUSY.
In BUSY, if you want to create shortcut keys as per your requirement, you can do so by clicking the Create Shortcut button provided at the bottom of each menu.
To create a shortcut key combination for a report, just select the report for which you want to create shortcut key and click the Create Shortcut button provided at the bottom of the menu.
For example: If you want to create shortcut for Balance sheet report then
Step 1: Go to Display menu then click on Final result.
Step 2: Click on Balancesheet and select the requirement such as horizontal or vertical.
Step 3: After select the format, Click on Create shortcut buttom provided at bottom of menu.
Step 4: Create the shortcut and then save it.
To directly add the voucher without the multiple selection option, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1 : Open BUSY and go to BUSY home screen
Step 2 : In right side you will find shortcut keys
Step 3 : Click on tab F3 add voucher it will show all dropdown list of voucher type just simply click on the voucher type you want to add and it will open voucher screen to add voucher.

To directly add the voucher without the multiple selection option, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1 : Click on transactions put cursor on add and in below click on create shortcut
Step 2 : Create new and unique shortcut key for voucher you need to add and click on save button.

Yes it is possible to work in multiple company simultaneously :
Step 1: Click on BUSY icon and select your 1st company from company list.
Step 2: Opening the 1st company.
Step 3: Now go to the desktop and again click on BUSY icon to open 2nd one.
Step 4: Click on open company option choose your 2nd company.
now you can work in both companies simultaneously . Just need to click on BUSY icon from the task bar while switching.
Generally we do not recommend to run rewrite but if you want to run rewrite please take latest backup of data and then run it is a time taking process so we recommend to run in non working hours or in non working day.
I'm having trouble locating a specific option or menu, you can follow below steps to find comprehensive guide to all available menus and options
Step 1: Use the universal search option provided in BUSY. To do this, click on the search icon on the right-hand side at the bottom of your screen under the shortcut keys.
Step 2: In the search menu, you can look for various things like features, vouchers, or reports. Choose the type of search you need, such as searching in menus or searching for features, options, or voucher configurations. Then type in the words related to what you're looking for.
This way, you can quickly find the menus and options you need in BUSY.
The issue of demo mode consuming the path for data, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Make sure that you have a multi-user license for BUSY Accounting Software.
Step 2: Connect both computer's to the same network using LAN or WIFI.
Step 3: On the server computer, share your data folder on the network. You can find your data folder in the Set Data Directory option under the Company menu.
Step 4: On the client computer, open BUSY Accounting Software and go to the Set Data Directory option. Here, you have to set the data path to the shared folder on the network. You can browse and select the shared folder from the network locations.
To reactive the cancelled voucher then follow the given steps:
Step 1: Go to Display menu
Step 2: Click on check list option
Step 3: Then click on Voucher Numbering Reports
Step 4: Then Click on Cancelled vocuher no.s option
Step 5: Select Voucher type, series, Starting and ending date then click on OK button
Step 6: Here you are view the list of cancelled voucher then click on particular vocuher and open it modify mode
Step 7: Then press ALT+X and you will get a message of Do you want to activate this voucher, click on YES button
Step 8: Afterward you can specify all neccessary details and save the voucher
To the additional data path option in the BUSY , here are some steps to follow:
Step 1: Click your right mouse button on the desktop
Step 2: Choose the New option from the menu
Step 3: Click on Shortcut from the options .
Step 4: Browse BUSY Installation Location.
Step 5 : Choose the BUSY exe icon from the installation location.
Step 6: Complete the shortcut creation process.
Step 7: Right click on the new created shortcut icon .
Step 8: Select Properties option .
Step 9 : click on the exe path and give the space after exe .
Step 10: Type path= and specify the data files folder path and save the window .
To operate both the companies separately with different tabs , here are some steps to follow:
