How to configure BUSY user access rights based on locations?
In BUSY, we can create Mutliple User and can give rights to them accordingly.
Pls Follow the Below Steps :
Step 1: Administration
Step 2: Users
Step 3: Add
Step 4: Create User and Password
Step 5: Specify the Voucher Series Group and Branch for the User
Step 6: On Top Right, Expand Menu Option can give rights to the user for which transaction can view, modify, delete,cancel and same for which reports he want to allow user can view.
Step 7: On Left Side, User Control - Can enable or disable option as per his requirment for user.
While we do anything in BUSY such as add master or anything not able to done.What should I do to fix this?
To fix for not able to work in BUSY you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Check your user you are admin or not.
Step 2: If you are sub user then check your user rights with admin user.
Step 3: Also you can check back date entries feature if you are not able to do voucher entrry in BUSY.
Step 4: Check data freezing feature from utilities option under administration.
Step 5: Also you can check same for that user in which you are not able to work under administration then user then user modify.
Why am I unable to see certain menu options or features in BUSY after updating to the latest version?
If you are unable to see certain menus and features in BUSY even after upgrading, there may be several reasons:
1: Sub-users do not have the rights to access particular menus and features. To obtain the necessary rights from the main user, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration.
Step 2: Click on Configuration.
Step 3: Select User Rights.
Step 4: Choose the sub-user and grant them the required rights.
2: If you are using an old version, you need to install the new BUSY version after upgrading.
I am unable to find the account statement generation option in BUSY. Where can I generate account statements?
To generate Account Statements in BUSY you can follow these steps.
Step 1. Go to Print Emal SMS Menu then click on outstanding Analysis
Step 2. Now click on Statement of Account and Choose the format for printing or preview on the screen.
Step 3. After that Pick the statement of account to be printed for one account or selected accounts.
Step 4. Then select the account name and enable or disable the option according to your need.
Step 5. Then Click on the Print button to generate the account statement.
How do I give restricted access to certain BUSY features for my staff?
To give restricted access to certain BUSY features for my staff, you can create a seperate user for them and give approriate rights by using these steps:
Step 1: Open your company with Super / Admin user.
Step 2: Go to the Administration tab.
Step 3: Select on Users option and click on the Add button.
Step 4: Type the User Name, Password and Recheck Password for the new user.
Step 5: Assign the rights and permission and remove feature / options rights from confiruation.
Step 6: Click on the Save button to create the new user.
Checking all transaction details log in BUSY. Is there a detailed report?
To check all transaction details log in BUSY, follow these steps:
1:Go to the Display section.
2:Select Checklist and then choose User Activity Log.
3:Choose the user name for whom you want to check the details.
4:Press the OK button, and the report will open, showing detailed information.
Note:Ensure that the user activity option is enabled.
Super users have the authority to check the user activity of all users.
Hierarchy rules apply, meaning a sub-user can only check reports for their lower hierarchy levels, not for themselves or higher-level authorities.
Certain features like report custom column don't seem to be working with my user. Is there something wrong with my user?
Certain feature like report custom column not working with your user due to user right, If the super user has not given you rights to custom columns and some features, then those features will not work with your user. To check you are super user or sub user, please follow the below steps:
1: Go to administration menu
2: Click on User -: if under the users will get change passward option that means you are a sub user and if you add,modify & list that mean your user is super user.
I am unable to save the invoice I created. What could be the reason and solution for this?
IF you are unable to save the invoice you created, it may be the reason is you are login as sub user,and its user restrictions,To give rights you can follow given steps:
Step 1:Go to the Administrtaion menu,
Step 2:Click on users,
Step 3:Open that user in modify mode,click menu rights, here you can give rights to this user,click on transactions
Step 4:check the check box sales, then check modify,to give rights,
then re open the company as sub user again then you can save the invoice again and modify
Why am I unable to view accounting reports in the BUSY? What could be the reason?
The reason why you are unable to view accounting reports in BUSY is due to limitation rights given to sub user in BUSY. If you want to view accounting reports in BUSY, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1 : Go to administration then users
Step 2 : Click on modify and select user you want to give rights to view accounting reports.
Step 3 : Go to menu rights then display and tick on the accounting report you want that sub user can view and click on save button.
How can I assign multiple branches to a user in BUSY?
In BUSY, each user can be tagged with only one branch. However, you can tag the same branch with multiple users. The process for tagging branch in a user mentioned below:
Step 1: Open your company with Super / Admin User.
Step 2: Go to Administration tab and click on Users.
Step 3: Here, you can Add new users or Modify the existing users.
Step 4: On User page set Y on "Specify Branch for this User" and select the branch from dropdown list and set other permissions as required and save.
