How do I set up multiple users and permission levels in BUSY?

 To set up multiple users and control what they can do in BUSY, here's how you can do it step by step:
Step 1: Open BUSY and log in with your main user account.
Step 2: Look for the administration menu and select Users.
Step 3: Click on Add User to create a new user account.
Step 4: Provide the needed information for the new user, like their username, password, and email.
Step 5: Decide what that user can do by giving them a permission level like Administrator (full control), Sub User (some control), or Data Entry Operator (limited control).
Step 6: Save the changes. If you need to add more users, go back to Step 3 and repeat the process.
Step 7: If you want to use BUSY on other computers, install it on those machines, and set the location where data is stored through a network path. This way, multiple users can access the software and share information.
Following these steps will help you manage multiple users with different levels of access in BUSY.

How do I add or remove users in BUSY?

 To add or remove user in BUSY you can follow given instructions: 
Solution 1 : For add users in BUSY.
. Open company in BUSY.
. Go in administration.
. Then select users option.
. Then a window will appear as,BUSY users/Cloud users.
. Select the relevant users option in which you want to add.
. click on add option.
. Then mention user name, Password and re check the password.
. Then define rights of user control and menu rights.
. Save it.
Note: You can add user through Superuser Only.
Solution 2: : For remove users in BUSY.
. Open company in BUSY.
. Go in administration.
. Then select users option.
. Then a window will appear as,BUSY users/Cloud users.
. Select the relevant users option in which you want to remove.
. Then click on list option.
. Select the user name and delete through F8.
. Or can delete through,In useres select modify then open the user name then delete through F8.
Note: You can delete user through Superuser Only.

Hierarchy Level: You can specify the Hierarchy level of the User in the company. The person having the highest authority should be assigned level as 0 then the Users subordinate to him should be assigned hierarchy level as 1 and so on.
Furthermore the hierarchy level in BUSY determines the access and visibility of the User Log and Message Centre features. A user can send notes and view the log activities of the users below him in the hierarchy. For example, a Manager can see and communicate with Asst. Manager, Team Leaders and Executives, but an Executive cannot see or communicate with anyone else.

 To create and manage user access rights in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1. Open BUSY and log in as the admin user.
Step 2. Go to the "Administration" menu and select "User Management."
Step 3. Click on "Create User" to add a new user.
Step 4. Fill in the required details like username, password.
Step 5. Assign the appropriate access rights to the user by selecting the given option for the desired modules and features.
Step 6. You can also set specific permissions for each menu rights by clicking on the Rights side menu button.
Step 7. Save the changes and the new user will be created with the assigned access rights.
To manage user access rights for existing users, you can go to the Users => Modify section and select the user you want to modify. From there, you can edit their access rights, change passwords, or delete the user if needed.

How do I give different access permissions to various users in BUSY?

 The error occurs in BUSY when it attempts to access an external element in a built-in function, but the element is either unavailable or not properly installed.
If error message show Runtime Error ‘9’ Script out of range while viewing any report follow the below steps:
Step 1: Perform a reindexing from BUSY on the database to fix any potential corruption issues that might be causing the lock file error. To do this, go to the Company →Reindex Databases.
Step 2 : If the issue persists after Step 1, attempt the following: apply the 'db1' patch from housekeeping by going to 'Apply Data Patch,' type 'db1,' and then try to open the BUSY company again. This action may resolve the problem.
Step 3: If the issue continues to persist after Step 2, please proceed with the following action: rewrite the book and recheck. If the problem remains unresolved, kindly send the data to us at support@busy.in for further assistance.

I need to add or remove BUSY users for my team. How do I do this?

 To Add Users and set permission in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company with Super / Admin user.
Step 2: Go to the Administration tab.
Step 3: Select on Users option and click on the Add button.
Step 4: Type the User Name, Password and Recheck Password for the new user.
Step 5: Assign the rights and permissions for the new user according to your needs and preferences.
Step 6: Click on the Save button to create the new user.
To Remove / Delete User in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company with Super / Admin user.
Step 2: Go to the Administration tab.
Step 3: Select on Users option and click on the Modify button.
Step 4: Select the user that you want to remove / delete and after open user window click on delete button or press F8 to delete.
Please make sure to take backup of your data before deleting process.
